Re: Jansen was very solid today

Jansen will be replaced next week if Heyer is well enough. Jim Zorn likes for Campbell to be able to pass, and Jansen allowed a lot of pressure on JC. However, so did Rabach.

I'm still upset we didn't draft Carl Nicks with a mid-to-late rounder.

Maybe we need to start putting Rinehart on the active roster?

If you value JC, then JJ needs to ride the pine. Yeah, the run blocking was improved with JJ in there, but we need JC to stay on his feet.

John - Stop crying about being demoted and watch film of yourself in the preseason and this past week against the Rams. But don't worry, your not the only O-line hog that can't pass block (yes, you Mr. Samuels).

The blocking was outstanding in the Browns game yesterday. And I thought Campbell had enough time to throw on the passing downs. All in all, the Browns couldn't stop the running game (obviously), so Jansen and the offensive line had another great day. That missed field goal would have made the game a little more comfortable for me had the Skins made it.

And he did watch film, that's why redeemed himself and kicked ass out there the only way he knows how to play. A lot of people have counted Jansen out, he might have a bad game here and there but when backs are to the wall there's no one I rather have protecting than JJ.

With the way the running game is cranking right now it's tough to argue with the decision.

Re: Jansen was very solid today

Is it not interesting how the benching of Jansen seems to have fired up the entire line? They have gone to bat for him in the media a few times. Perhaps, they're seriously fired up trying to keep him in the mix?
Interesting..........whatever, It works

Re: Jansen was very solid today

I think someone mentioned that Buges benched Bostic or Grimm or something in his first stint with the same result.

You can't argue with experience.
Buges is pulling off another stellar Oline coaching year.
The fact that a guy like Heyer even made the team last year was a near miracle.
Buges is flat out awesome....and dont forget, he is still dealing with the death of his daughter...Buges is the ultimate tough guy and his line shows it.
