I heard Jay talking about it too yesterday on Rome. The one thing that concerned me was Rome asked Jay if he called Brett on this before breaking the story just to get his side and he said no. He seemed irked that all summer when all the drama was going on Brett would only talk with ESPN, so he felt he didn't owe Brett that courtesy.

thanks you giantsone, favre said this never happened, there is no actual proof that it did. if theres actual credible proof then ill make up my mind but right now with favre saying it didnt happen and nothing to suggest otherwise: it didnt happen.

When asked about this, Rod Marinelli said "no comment", which IMO is pretty damning.

Wow, I hadn't heard that. Damning is right. There was a time when Favre was my favorite non-Redskins player ever. That time has passed.
