He's on their radar, on the far outskirts of their radar. Thrash has got to go sooner than later I think.

I know he was 1st team all-big 12 (Texas A&M) in 2004. Isn't he a center? Could be a nice depth move if he can play some guard, too. He'd definitely be inexpensive.

Re: 2009 Free Agents

Buffalo’s purge continues. The bills released tight end Robert Royal today. Earlier, they let go of guard Derrick Dockery. The Bills are clearing cap space and making moves, and they might not be done. Royal was also a Skin at one time

I agree. Jerry knows he desperately needs to get some leadership in that locker room.

Well, I guess this solves that mystery:

ProFootballTalk.com - JONES WAS IN PHILLY TO MEET WITH COMCAST

Convenient itinerary though, given how close Baltimore is to Philthy.

Starting caliber Center who should be more cost-effective than Jason Brown.

The Center market is absolutely loaded though not only in free agency, but in the draft.

If Rabach is on the team next year we have only the front office to blame.

Re: 2009 Free Agents

I'm starting to think a perfect weekend will look like:
CB-Hall
DT-Chris Canty
LG-Dockery
RT-Stacey Andrews
P-Hunter Smith
K-? Is there anyone out there better than Suisham? He's garbage but I don't think much better is available.
I'd much rather have that FA class than a bunch of $ thrown at Haynesworth. We're not one player away. Even with Haynesworth we're closer to 4-12 than 12-4 so I'd rather build some talent rather than chase a big fish.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

That weekend coupled with Killzone 2 would make this weekend one of the best ever. However I'm kind of disapointed in the possibility of Canty being used as a LDE instead of a DT.

Mike Nugent is available.

You say build talent, yet you talk about getting a whole bunch of free agents (Canty, Dock, Andrews and Smith). Besides, building talents means you win later (most of the time, not all).

Ravens, Brown far apart on deal -- baltimoresun.com

Quote:
The Washington Redskins are believed to be the front-runners for Brown and could sign the former fourth-round pick as soon as free agency begins at midnight tonight. The Miami Dolphins are also expected to make a run at Brown.
only place I've seen us mentioned as the front-runners
