Man Claims Marvin Harrison Hired Hit Man to Kill Him

Police still don't know who shot and critically wounded Dwight Dixon in Fairmount on Tuesday, but Dixon apparently had one person in mind.

Moments after a gunman riddled Dixon with seven bullets, the bloodied 33-year-old told a police officer he believed the gunman had been hired by NFL star Marvin Harrison, said a law-enforcement source close to the investigation.

Harrison isn't a suspect in the shooting, and investigators have not found evidence to link him to the incident, the source noted.

Police "won't know what made him say that until he wakes up," the source said.

Dixon - who last year claimed that he had been shot by Harrison following a fistfight in North Philadelphia - has been heavily sedated since Tuesday, when doctors at Hahnemann University Hospital spent 10 hours operating on him.

Is Harrison some sort of closet thug or something?

I mean c'mon, two times a shooting incident involving Harrison. Just doesn't sound right. Out of thin air this guy pulls Harrison's name?

Apparently...although I doubt the veracity of this guy's story. Wasn't it Tom Friend who did a real look into Harrison and how he's basically like a really quite guy so everyone thought that translated into the way he conducted himself but in reality he's a rather sketchy dude in Philly? Surrounding himself with the right wrong people. One's who do his dirty work but are very quite about it.

The first time around Harrison hot him. The prosecutors are convinced of that but can't prove it. This time I think the guy is blowing smoke.

Why in the world is a guy like Harrison hanging out in one of the worst areas in the country? He fired a gun at a guy and could've killed him. Harrison is 100% thug and no better than Vick. Actually he might be worse.

Re: Man Claims Marvin Harrison Hired Hit Man to Kill Him

yeah... I had thought that the stories coming out over the passed few years mention Harrison being quiet yes, but a true a-hole... very ornery and recluse from his teammates.

Usually when there is smoke there is fire and there is PLENTY of smoke around Harrison when it comes to this dude.

it was Harrison's gun the first time (wasn't it?)... but no evidence linked him to it? I, like everyone else don't know the real story & I do believe in innocent until proven guilty, but in this case, I have to believe Harrison is fully involved.

AAHHH, Harrison, the man that is more criminal than anyone else in the league. At least he was good enough or at least popular and quiet enough to not let his sadistic nature catch up to him before he made a kings living in the NFL. It is sad that he made it this far and the law has yet to catch him.
