Re: Training Camp Updates:
Well said. We got Redskins fans ready to put Colt in the starting line up after 1 week of camp. I bet none of them ever played QB at any level , just arm chair QB's. Let the real coaches coach and sit back and just watch and learn.

Re: Training Camp Updates:
Wow you read my mind. If the Redskins get to the 35 yard line and all you need is 3 points to win or tie you would not go to the endzone. Defense would sit back and let you catch it underneath but would defend the endzone. If a QB forces it in the endzone it may get picked off. The goal of the 2min drill was to get into FG range or score depending on how much time was on the clock.

Re: Training Camp Updates:
They always say that the back up QB's are a fan favorite until they get thrown into the fire. Then they the fans have a reality check that he was a back up for a good reason. Colt B. great College career doesn't always mean a great NFL career.

I'd be completely star stuck if I saw Lattimer in person. He's probably the best fictional football character next to Johnny B. Good.

Haynesworth's knee still bothering him? | ProFootballTalk.com
Per the Associated Press, Haynesworth received an injection on Sunday to cushion a knee that he sprained late in the 2008 season. He did not particpate in the second practice of the day. Coach Jim Zorn reportedly described the procedure as "normal." What isn't entirely "normal" is that Zorn's comments regarding Haynesworth were omitted from the collection of quotes from Zorn that was distributed by the team on Sunday.

Re: Training Camp Updates:
On a separate note, Terl's Blog had a decent article on Hunter Smith. It focused on him as the holder for our kicker. I wanted Smith, but didn't think about that side benefit. Sounds like he is a professional

Re: Training Camp Updates:
He may have lined up at other spots as well but he was definitely at RE on some plays. (It's hard to watch everything from ground level 40 yards away with Christie Cooley 10 feet in front of you with friends to boot). At one point against shotgun by the offense, the front four from L to R was Carter Daniels Haynesworth Orakpo. You may recall that Daniels played tackle some on 3rd down situations 2 seasons ago and appparently Blache is at least considering doing that again. He certainly isn't too small for it. He's still the biggest guy out there. Maybe Heyer, Dockery and Williams are in his zip code, but Daniels is just humongous.

70-what about Marcus Mason? Anything on him?
I hear Chase had another up and down day.
