REDSKINS NEED TO MAKE MINCE MEAT OF THE LAMBS!!!
Bubba from Forrest Gump said it best, "Anyway, like I was sayin', lamb is the fruit of the plains. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, lamb-kabobs, lamb creole, lamb gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple lamb, lemon lamb, coconut lamb, pepper lamb, lamb soup, lamb stew, lamb salad, lamb and potatoes, lamb burger, lamb sandwich. That- that's about it."

O wanna see Haynesworth go against Jason Brown the center of the Rams against AH since he said that haynesworth is easy to tire and we're just gonna run the no huddle.

In other news, Philly put Shawn Andrews on IR. Their OL lost some teeth.
Shawn Andrews of Philadelphia Eagles placed on injured reserve with back, make room for Jeff Garcia - ESPN

Re: Week Two: I'm looking forward to...
Neither team will want to go 0-2 in the standings, therefore we basically have two desperate teams going against each other.
I'm hoping to see more discipline, means fewer penalties. Better 3rd down defense to give our offense more opportunities. Consistency on offense, being able to sustain drives and score points. (an issue which can't be emphasized enough) Secure tackling on defense, the first tackler on the scene makes the play, limit RAC. Better play selection. No trick plays until a team has been setup for them, they then have a better chance of being successful. Play alert, smart, tough and aggressive. The Giant's game is closing in on fourty eight hours cold, time to move on to the next victum. Checking the archived post from the opener against the Giants this time last year, they seem erily simular, almost a carbon copy. |

The cornerbacks playing press coverage.
Orakpo getting pressure on Bulger. Haynesworth pancaking Incognito. Kelly making a few highlight reel catches. Campbell leading an efficient passing attack. |

Passing the ball aggressively.
Sacks and knockdowns on Bulger. Campbell have a multi-touchdown game and attacking the defense. Zorn calling an aggressive game. Kelly, DT and Davis actually being a significant part of the game. The team, as a whole, getting its head out of its ass and playing with some fire.

Re: Week Two: I'm looking forward to...
My biggest fear is that the Skins will figure out a way to make this close and, perhaps, win by 10. Anything less than a 17 pt/21 pt victory and I'll be mildly disappointed. I say mildly because a win is a win, right? Skins lose and I guarantee you that Jim Zorn will be on the hot seat. I don't care if anyone from Redskins Park says otherwise. That would make Zorn 2-8 in his last 10 outings, if my math is correct. You can't dress that up.
What I'm looking for is purely statistical. Im not usually driven by stats and numbers, but we need to look good on paper, as well as on the field. I'd like to see JC throw for at least 280 yards and two touchdowns. I'd like to see Clinton get anywhere from 90-100 yards rushing and one score. Honestly, I think the defense will show up. They usually do. Two turnovers from that side of the ball would be great. I won't say that the entire season is riding on this game, but if we lose and depending on how we win, it will definitely affect the team's physche going forward. This is Zorn's biggest game since becoming head coach of the Redskins.. |

Re: Week Two: I'm looking forward to...
I want to see an aggressive offense and a disruptive defense. Is that too much to ask?
The Giants attacked on both sides of the ball. Hit hard, confuse, disrupt. Reading Zorn's and the rest of the team's comments, I am just not seeing this attitude. I hated Buddy, and think his son's are a-holes, but damn - can we get some of that f***'ing aggression in this team? Not out of control-penalty aggression, but hit you legal hit you hard kinda of aggression. Okay. rant done. oh wait--- god da**it, HIT THEM HURT THEM MAKE THEM AFRAID!!! OFFENSE AND DEFENSE!! <sigh> okay. done. for now.

Re: Week Two: I'm looking forward to...
If the Redskins jump out to an early 14-0 lead, I want to see us win by at least 21 points. I won't be disappointed if the Rams play a great game and make it close or even win it, but if we come out and dominate the first quarter, we better knock them out in the second and the third.
