What team will London Fletcher retire with?
His SB winning Rams that he was with for 4 years?
The Bills, who had him for the longest so far at 5 years? The Skins, where he will likely end his career? Just a little something to distract us from what's going on on the field. |

Re: What team will London Fletcher retire with?
He's not going to get serious HoF pull, though he's certainly deserving, so I doubt it matters.
Probably a Ram, in the minds of most, though you could argue that his best seasons came as a Redskin.

Re: What team will London Fletcher retire with?
Probably a team that is one player away from contending, or a contender that suffers an injury at MLB. He would have been a good fit for Philly or Chicago when their MLBs went down. This will be just one more of many numerous holes to fill in this organization. Any idea when his current contract expires?

A Redskin after we win the next 3 Superbowls (starting in 2010).

Either the skins or wherever else he lands after us. 12th Man had a good call - the pats. If he were cut here next year they would definitely look at getting him.
I don't see him getting signed by the rams or bills for the sake of ceremonial retirement. He left both places when his contract was up. |

The Rams are probably where he has his fondest memories. If he has to make a choice I'd think that would be the team.

Re: What team will London Fletcher retire with?
Probably the Rams. If that 7.1 million cap number is accurate, then he probably won't be here next season. The team will probably figure that a young MLB is needed during our rebuilding effort and will benefit from having Haynesworth up front. In turn, I could see Spagnolo (spelling don't kount) bringing London in to shore up the Rams D seeing as though he saw plenty of Fletcher against the Giants and knows he's a gamer.

More than likely I imagine that he will retire as a ram.

Re: What team will London Fletcher retire with?
When someone retires, they just retire. They don't pick a team or anything. If he gets in the Hall then we can have this conversation.
