Re: Coaching Staff update
I'm going to do a little sucking up here since I'm so happy Dallas lost.
To TheWarpath, good job on the banner. To Snyder for giving TheWarpath some decent professional looking people to put a top it's web page. I think looking at the three they look professional. Well Snyder kinda reminds me of someone from the 70's who walks around giving the six shooter hello, but other then that they look great. Vinny was killing me with his deer in the headlights or pug looks he would give. Then there was Zorn. Hopefully the professional look carries over to the field. |

I, for one, am glad we did not promote this guy. Our secondary needs a new slap in the face. This guy wasn't gunna do that. Phew... and to think a bunch of you actually considered him to be head coach material...well...the NFL spoke and no one though he could even handle a full defense...good job new GM!

Re: Coaching Staff update
Not unhappy about this. I think Gray may very well be a decent coach, but I think he was part of the drama here and am glad for all coaches/FO involved in that to be gone.

Re: Coaching Staff update
Screw Gray, I am more than happy he left. He insulted Zorn the way he interviewed for the position. It was clear it was just to hire Shanahan, but stiil

Re: Coaching Staff update
Does anyone think that Jim Mora Jr. would be a possible candidate to replace Jerry Gray as the secandory coach?

Re: Coaching Staff update
I doubt it since he was a D coordinator since 99.

Re: Coaching Staff update
I could never see where Jerry Gray did anything to make the players we had better, which in my opinion is what a coaches responsibility is. He had players (Landry) playing out of position, CB's playing too far off receivers and no versatility to his game plans, he played each and every team the exact same way, passive and predictable.

Re: Coaching Staff update
Well, the teams that Hasslet coached seemed terrible , at least Grey had a couple great years as Defensive Coordinator.

Re: Coaching Staff update
That would worry me. Not because he wouldn't do a good job, but with Haslett on board we already have one former head coach serving as an assistant. Throw in a Mora plus Shanahan, and I worry about the "too many cooks in the kitchen" cliche. That's a lot of egos on one sideline.
