Re: Mel Kiper's New Mock Draft
i want derrick johnson he is compared to lavar while lavar was at penn! he is really fast with a 4.5!!!!!!!!! he is light though in the low 200s at 6'4 but geeeez he is gonna b a playmaker with ints and sacks. he plays outside but i think that i heard he can play middle and that is what we need i think that the WR can be found in later rounds if we just get a second pick otherwise i want williams, edwards, and williamson, and heath miller at TE if all edwards , williams, and johnson are gone. or just trade down

Re: Mel Kiper's New Mock Draft
DJ is a great player that we don't need... moving him to middle is a waste of his talent, and its not really what his strong suit is... besides that, there's no way GW will have a rookie calling the defensive plays.

Re: Mel Kiper's New Mock Draft
MLB doesn't have to call the defensive plays. DJ is great, but will be long gone by 9 and I also think he's built for OLB. I'd like to grab Brooks out of UVA next year, but hopefully we won't have that high of a pick!

Re: Mel Kiper's New Mock Draft
I am new to this board, but I think that the Skins would help themselves and there problem with the cap by trading down. They could fill more holes and pay less money than they would too a top 10 player in the draft. They may possibly even get picks for next year. I like williams or edwards but not to the point that we give up getting better across the board. And with the skins luck in picking first round Wr's (Howard, Gardner) we will pump tons of cash and see very little production. I don't want to see big names come and big games go. I want to see solid role players here and us in every game. Eventualy win most of them!
Maybe I am old-fashioned at only 29 years old. |

Re: Mel Kiper's New Mock Draft
Welcome, 2big. However, what glaring holes do you see?
In my opinion our offensive line, QB, RB, HB positions are all good to go. Royal I don't mind at TE but I'd like to try a blocking type there. I feel our WRs still need work too. As far as defense I think we need a CB if we don't resign Smoot, and that's it. Wynn plays solid every year, give Daniels a chance the few downs he played he looked half way decent on last year, our LBs are great - I bet Marshall can do what Pierce did. Salava'e is back and if he rotates with Noble that leaves us with a constantly fresh person pushing the pocket. I think the 9th pick salary will be cheaper than say the 20th pick and a 2nd rounder. Maybe not, but Im sure they'll be close! |
