Re: Landry wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week
besides making great plays he seems to have gotten smarter also, thats what I like.No stupid penalties and going for the big hit and whiffing or talking trash and looking like an ahole

Dang, changed my avatar thinking I'd be the first to show up with Landry and Matty beats me to it.

Re: Landry wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week
Pro Bowl bound. Landry hasn't just made plays, but he strikes fear of bodily harm for receivers roaming his area. I daresay his play is reminding me of #21, which would have been considered heresy last year.

Re: Landry wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week
This is GREAT news .. i'm so happy for Dirty 30 ... just makes ya think sometimes how crazy that tandem of 21 and 30 would have been and how things may have been different the last few years .. RIP ST, can't help but think of ST when i watch Landry fly around .. nothing but a great compliment to a great player and a true individual - HTTR

Re: Landry wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week
I've seen enough where I can say pretty confidently that his play has been no fluke. He's finally being used to his strengths in this system, and it sounds like he's worked hard off the field especially in the film room. Landry has arrived. Time to recognize the beast for what he is.

Re: Landry wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week
I knew when we drafted him that he is a stud football player. He could play LB or RB and probably do alright. He is a gifted athlete.
I was one of the few that defended him last year and I did not want to dump or trade him. After watching him his rookie season here with ST that I knew it was a scheme and coaching issue that caused his issues last year. He regressed after Blache took over the defense. If GWillilams had stayed there would have never been a drop off. Thank god we have a new FO and coaching staff. Snyder has been so quiet, he really learned his lesson and is behaving more like JKC. Sign the checks and hold the FO and coaches accountable. That is all. Thanks. Now we have to decide if we extend Dirty 30's contract...I say yes please. Re: Landry wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week
Landry is starting to remind me of a young Steve Atwater the way he has been blowing people up from all over the field. The switch back to his natural position has really revived his career. I would say watching him play has been the most fun I have had as a Skins fan since Taylor was murdered.

Re: Landry wins NFC Defensive Player of the Week
That's awesome! He deserved it.
Now let's show 'em that it's not a fluke & have another huge game against the ponies!
