It takes a full game on both sides of the ball. The offense sucked all game. The defense only sucked half a game.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
what an awful performance. truly awful, yet again after a bye week. the defense really stepped up in the 2nd half, credit to them. but our receivers played pretty poorly today, we had no running game, and grossman was awful.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
I think there is still hope for us. Beck showed some good things out there today, and he didn't throw a damn INT. God I wanted to believe Grossman could turn into a decent starting QB, but he sucks worse than Ramsey. Shoot, I would take good ole Gus back instead of this dude. Yeah Gus threw INTs, but he knew how to get the ball in the endzone as well, and I don't remember him throwing 4 INTs in a game either.

Shanhan has no answers for this performance. Lots of, "Need to look at film" type of comments.

D came up big holding Philly to 2 FGs in 2nd qtr. 6 points over 44 min. is pretty good with Vick making only 1 mistake on the batted INT.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Loser of the game Grossman.
Runner up, Trent....started the game with 2 key penalties then gets injured, causing a reshuffling of the line that was head scratching. Why move Montgomery from Center instead of putting in another LG...oh yeah, we don't believe in carrying a 3rd guard on the squad...a lot of why we couldn't run had to do with the Oline injuries and our FO insisting that we dont need a backup guard. Our interior was suffering and it affected both Grossman and Beck. I was calling for Beck after the first quarter, not due to injury but due to needed extra mobility to deal with the line injury issues. Bottom line, this team is still a 7-9 team...until we actual beat that mark, I will not believe. Some of you crazy bastards actually believed we could win the division after beating bad and injured teams, my oh my!

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
I guess I was right along with many others. Rex would make it about 5 games then get pulled. Injuries are worrisome, looks like Cooley and Licht are done for the season. Trent has a high ankle sprain. We need a qb if we are going to make the next step.
