2. Shanahan was pretty patient with Haynesworth too; he kept him on the roster and not suspending him until very late into the season.

Shanny had other viable options who could take AH's place I dont think he does for DH. I dont have a problem with DH playing the remaining games and considering how little talent the SKins have I could actually see DH being on this team next year. |

Actually losing doesn't suck for cultbrennan. He wants us to lose, just as any Cowboys fan does.

As much as I like Gomes and Kerrigan, I hope that the coaches are calling them out for their tackling.

Doughty had a chance to lay the wood on him and didnt do it. We once had a saftey around here that would have. Ive always take up for Doughty but that was horrible.

I know many of you don't like Joey T. but I do and I couldn't agree more with him.

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Patriots)
“You know, I shook my head and I went, you’re looking for leadership on a football team. And then the stuff with DeAngelo in Sunday’s game, standing around and watching, trying to pull an Albert Haynesworth. I mean, come on,” Theismann said. “DeAngelo’s been the most vocal guy, criticizing coaches after the Dallas game. How about shutting up and just playing football?
“As a fan — and I’m speaking purely as a fan right now — if I’m a fan of the Washington Redskins and I see that exhibition, and it’s on ESPN’s C’mon Man, it stands out like a sore thumb. Is that the way you want people to view you? Is that the way you view your job? Imagine all these people driving down the Beltway, everybody sitting in their offices right now, imagine them doing their job the way DeAngelo did his on Sunday, and expecting to get a paycheck. Did I not bring up these exact same points already. At least someone agrees with me that he pulled a haynesworth.

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Patriots)
Hall knows he screwed up on that one play. It doesn't excuse it. It's happened to other players, but again no excuse. It's was a bad, lazy play on his part. I wouldn't expect to see it again. I'd bench him if it does.
I've never seen LF have a lazy play or take a play off. I'm just not sure what his future is in DC. If he isn't a leader on the field then well...we need leaders. |
