P.S.

Terrel Thomas will resign with the Giants they are very close to a deal.

P.S.S. We don't care in this thread.

Are you ready for 2012, where the Giants have the second-best QB in the NFC East?

Why, did Peyton sign with the Cowboys?

Ew. Watching those highlights reminds me of an embarressing time when we trotted Rex Grossman out under center. Even in his "highlights" you can see his truly impressive moments are few and far between.

Now I can't wait until we get to see RG3 start destroyin' mfers like the badass he is in September. I mean watch the highlights of the two players and you can tell it's not even a contest.

Hey the Redskins beat the Giants twice last year no if or buts about it.I will accept this evey year as long as the result is the same ....a super bowl.
May I remind Skins fans that when the were the best ....they lost to a team that stunk ....the Cowboys and visa versa,it's why the games in the NFC east are so much fun, records don't matter.

In 1995, Dallas Cowboys last Super Bowl year, the Redskins defeated twice that season and that Redskin team was 6-10 that season. The year the Giants played the Ravens in the Super Bowl, the 12-4 Giants and 8-8 Redskins split that year.

This past year....I don't know. It was opening day so everything was fresh. The Redskins were coming off of 6 straight losses to the Giants. We were do for a win against Big Blue. And later in the season, the Redskins caught the Giants at the right time. The Giants had just gotten blown out by the Saints on National TV. But all in all, that Giants team never lost again that season. Hypothetically speaking, had they played the Redskins in the playoffs, they would have lost that game too.

Doubt it but in reality we know how it worked out.

Yes, it culminated in a strange turn of fortunes. A win against Atlanta and then a victory over a cold Green Bay team followed by a narrow achievement versus a 49ers team who committed two fluke special teams turnovers in order to enable a puzzling lucky Giants team to win that game and go into the Super Bowl to defeat a Patriots team that they had already beaten in the regular season.

Re: Griffin's impact on the off-season FA/draft

I don't know after watching some of those highlights and reading more about what some people have said here about his DUI's it reminds me a lot of back when we were going to get Haynesworth.

There were a lot of 'Yes we need him we'll be so good with him' and the few people that were saying cautiously that 'he could be a bust and that we're paying for what he's done in the past.' I'm started to tilt my arrow towards Don't Care either way of getting him and not getting him rather than 'I want him'. This could easily be another haynesworth signing and has a lot of similarities to him with the big pay day.

Btw, a lot of people are putting a lot of their eggs in the Hankerson basket. After he played 1 game to show us something. I want to see more than 1 game before I judge him. So far I've seen that he gets injured and can't hold onto the ball.
