My Redskins wishlist for 2005

My top ten list as inspired by mooby:
  1. A 20 TD season for Patrick Ramsey
  2. At least a split with each NFC East team
  3. 10 wins
  4. Portis rushes for 1500 yards
  5. Cooley catches 8 TDs
  6. Lavar plays 16 games
  7. a Wild Card berth
  8. a relatively injury-free season
  9. Peter King to write a column extolling the good things about Art Monk without using the phrase "the Hall of Very Good"
  10. Less than 20 sacks

Re: My Redskins wishlist for 2005

I'd love to see us have another wild "Wild Card" race this year and actually make it. Was it just me or did every Sunday feel like the Super Bowl last year until we were mathematically eliminated?

Re: My Redskins wishlist for 2005

Key to Redskins success and my happiness:

1) Ramsey needs to play to his supposed potential.
2) Taylor Jacobs needs to grow a pair, get healthy and play to HIS supposed potential.
3) Someone steps up to play well at SS.
4) Same with MLB.
5) Offensive line play consistantly. Become good run blocking unit.

Great list...by the way Peter King looks like Norm from Cheers. He is also annoying, but he isn't stupid. Alot of his articles are good, and I think he thinks through his topics well and chooses his battles. Unfortunately he chose wrong on the Monk HOF issue he is a hall of famer as long as Steve Largent is.

I'd like to see 28 per game but that list looks fairly spot on.

Re: My Redskins wishlist for 2005

well my first five are in my sig, but here are the rest.
6. P.R. throws at least 20 touchdowns, over 2500 passing yards, and less than 10 picks.
7. Clinton Portis gets over 1500 yards and 15 touchdowns
8. Chris Cooley becomes a breakout tight end.
9. Our defense ranks #1.
10. Our defense gets more than 20 turnovers.
11. Lavar plays healthy and returns to the Pro Bowl, and he wins Defensive MVP.
12. We have less than 5 starters on injured reserve at the end of the season.
13. Win a playoff game, go to the Super Bowl.
