Re: Around the NFL-Week 1
I have never seen a team try to......pull/steal/strip the ball away from an opponent like the Cowboys tonight. Kind of..........cheap

Ndamukong Suh of Detroit Lions faces discipline from NFL for low block on John Sullivan of Minnesota Vikings - ESPN
The irony of Jared Allen making this comment is priceless. Quote:

Report -- Mike Wallace of Miami Dolphins not happy with usage in win - ESPN
This is the type of player to avoid in free agency. The guy is pissed after a big road win to start the season because of his stat line. Amazing.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1
I LOVED that game as a kid. Running was tough but you could pass all over the place, especially if you turned the console's skill level down and kept yours on high...flipping the A/B switches. You could score 200 points!
The sound effects on a deep pass and catch... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH...DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO. And the kicks... RUMMMMMMMMPHHHHHHH. Anyway, last night may have been the worst football I've ever watched, by both teams! I was also dreading the "ROMO IS A HERO" commentary when he got injured. I couldn't root for the Giants. I am actually thrilled to see Eli, their running game, their defense....everyone but the WRs just melt down. Too bad Dallas got the win but after Mara's crap in the last two years, I don't even mind if Dallas has to win to send Mara home a loser. I hate both teams so much...I root for a tie.

Re: Around the NFL-Week 1
My take aways from yesterday's action
1. Giants have a ton of issues on offense and defense 2. Kaepernick is about an impressive as any QB in the league. Really impressed by his accuracy and tough throws he makes look super easy. 3. Pittsburg gonna have a long year. 4. Russell Wilson, Jay Cutler and Luck with big throws and run in Luck case to win games. 5. The ending of the Jets vs Tampa was shocking. Tampa really let me down, I thought they would come out and dominant. Josh Freeman is garbage.
