Samuels is Back

Don't know if anybody noticed, but Chris Samuels took a dump on Demarcus Ware's chest. I mean he completly dominated him. I'm glad to see that Samuels is playing to his potential.

Re: Samuels is Back

It's funny because Madden was gushing about Ware on one play where Samuels was totally shutting him down... I was like c'mon give Samuels some props!

He did say that Samuels was doing a good job, but was it just me or were Michaels and Madden in love with the Cowboys all night long??

Re: Samuels is Back

c'mon they're in love with anyone who's winning (or looks like they're winning). they have to seem "insightful".

if the scoreboard was different at the time, Samuels would've been "welcoming a rookie to the NFL"

Re: Samuels is Back

I can't tell you the number of times I told Michaels and Madden to kiss my ass last night. Then they switched sides and I told them again at the end of the game....think they heard me?

Re: Samuels is Back

They seemd to be totally up the 'Boys ass all night. Samuels looked real good except for that one WR screen where he over ran his blocking zone and completely whiffed on Dat Nyugen coming in and taking the play down. That play could have been a big gainer if not for that. As far as d-line dominance the whole line did well. The pressure the 'Boys we're getting all night came on LB stunts and Safety blitzes. They didn't get much in the way of d-line pressure.

yeah, lots of secondary trying to get back there, it wasnt an 8 man box, it was 8 man in the bakfield, we shoulda been tossing it over the whole game.

Ummm.... Don't you mean LAWRENCE TAYLOR??! I've heard him described as Lawrence Taylor II in no less than 3 games now.

I wasn't aware that he was in the game last night. hmmmm.....

Um yeah he was that guy laying on the star in the middle of the field in the fetal position crying when it finally all over.

Ware: "Gee I have never played a pro-bowl offensive lineman before. Maybe I'm a little overrated."
Samuels: "Welcome to the league rook. Please bend over and grab ankles.....now."

Yeah, I saw that too Matty. Pretty hilarious that after Madden had talked up Ware for a few minutes, the next play they showed in slow-mo as a highlight was Samuels completely stuffed Ware. Madden did say that Samuels did a good job on that play.

Re: Samuels is Back

Like everything football related, more wins will put things in perspective. Just as the Colts, Eagles, (insert team that's been winning for last few years here) have been the darlings of the analysts, teams like the Redskins, Texans, Bengals, etc. have become the dogs. Can't change history - but future wins will change everything.

Re: Samuels is Back

I knew Samuals totally owned Ware when they showed a slow-mo of Betts running past the two of them locked up on the left side. Gibbs normally makes Betts chip the end as he runs out to help the lineman. Betts did not even try.

That only happens when Samuals has gone to the huddle and says he does not need any help.

OWNED!

Good point, that was a very weak (non) block. Otherwise, Samuels silenced Demarcus Ware all night, even when Michaels and Madden made all the noise for him.

While the Cowboys were throwing a lot of corner blitzes, Marcus Spears and Greg Ellis combined for a half-sack, and Chris Canty had another. Whether it was 8 in the box or corner blitzes, I'd still like to see better protection from our offensive line.
