Still glad little Shanny is gone though. And I still think we're a better team than the Browns.

Oh dont get me wrong Im not making this about the Skins at all. I do not think we are better than the Browns. I just dont think that Kyle and Hoyer are the reason they are rolling. |

Re: Bye Week Thread
Better than the Browns?! Are you kidding?! The Browns have twice as many wins as the Skins. I suspect KS has a little something to do with this new found success. You are what your record says you are.

Run game, o-line, and a very favorable schedule as of late. They even caught the Saints early in the year. However KS is part of the staff so I will agree. He has a LITTLE something to do with it. |

I didnt have a problem with the Skins making a change from KS but I think what we will soon discover is that the problem wasn't so much KS as it was/is RG3. I think JG is quickly coming to the same conclusion but RG3 is the best the Skins have so they are going to have to find a way to make it work. |

Re: Bye Week Thread
Well played, sir. I would add that however coachable Cousins has been -- and I like the kid -- it hasn't led to better ball security.
As for KS, I wish him well. I didn't view him as the problem last year. I think he's a reasonably talented guy. Although let's also be clear -- the Browns aren't winning because of a good offense. The offense is pretty mediocre, to be sure. They've had some good fortune and they've played some pretty crappy teams. They've beaten the Steelers twice, but you never know who is going to show up with that team -- same can be said with the inconsistent Bengals. They did beat the Saints, but the're obviously beatable. They beat the Titans, and we know first hand how crappy they are. They LOST to the Jags which is inexcusable, they beat the Raiders and also the Bucs but both games were at home and were close. So it isn't like they've had to play Seattle or Dallas, folks. One simply cannot say that KS has their offense clicking.

Re: Bye Week Thread
I agree with you 100%. However they lost once to the Steelers. As I mentioned earlier in the victory against Pitt, they completed a total of 8 passes. 8.

Re: Bye Week Thread
Obviously we should just beat RGIII with a bamboo stick and leave him in the Pacific Ocean, he obviously deserves that.

Well he only had 17 attempts. So if they dropped 9 ill hear you on that. I didnt watch the game so maybe it wasnt as futile a passing attack as it seems on paper. My point was that even in their most glorious victory this year it did not appear to me that it was the KS/BH show which did in the Steelers. |
