Re: The everything Gruden thread
Agree but was way better than this shit. Idk what it will take to make us a good team again it sucks. Someone posted yesterday how we were like 70 games over 500 20 years ago and now we r like 11? Holy shit that's sad

Re: The everything Gruden thread
I thought so, too. The person they really gave the finger to was Snyder, who pushed for the trade. Hopefully Dan will learn from his humiliation.

Re: The everything Gruden thread
If you're not winning games might as well take pride in "winning" a trade I guess. Though I'm not sure how a trade can be won if it's not resulting in wins on the field.
Sounds like it's a beef between Allen and Fisher to be specific. |

Re: The everything Gruden thread
Well, fine. Let Allen learn from his humiliation not to allow such trades to happen.

Re: The everything Gruden thread
Way better? Do you remember the mid 90s at all? We've been a consistent loser since Gibbs 1.0.

Re: The everything Gruden thread
Man, I've been a Redskins fan forever and never missed a play. Watched the whole game again today, but if something doesn't change soon and the Redskins I fell in love with don't come back. I don't know how much more of this I can take, because this is not a Redskins football team. This is a joke.

You don't stick with a failing investment, you dump it and cut your losses. We aren't going to see any return on Gruden, next season we'll be in a similar position and people such as yourself will be saying we need to give him another season. How many seasons must we waste? |

Re: The everything Gruden thread
2 weeks ago, i would have been a 5 or a high 4 on this, but right now, with 3 division games left, and terrible losses to Tampa, and the Rams (I know they are good, but we shouldn't be THAT bad), and not seeing much from team leaders - I don't even know what players might be considered leaders at this point. I am at a sinking 3, I want to give him another year, but my biggest problem, is that it's not like we haven't known that RT and Safeties were an issue, and we didn't address them effectively. (I was on the Morgan Moses bandwagon, so at the time, I thought that was a solid pick, not sure where he fits now.)

Re: The everything Gruden thread
I honestly don't know. I still think the team is no better off if they fire Gruden after one season, but I'm starting to feel they're no better off keeping him either. Which means the changes need to happen in the front office first.

Have people already forgotten the glorious Steve Spurrier/Shane Matthews era?
