Murphy is a decent player I don't see him.as a difference maker but he'll always be a solid option. Mariota looks good but I just never trust Oregon Qbs

Both qb look meh to me. Even stats in the first half, Marcus threw a int. Winston over throws receivers constantly. 2nd half has belong to Winston this season, let's see if it continues

Winston is so much better than Mariota for the NFL game. Not even close. He makes more stick throws vs Mariota who throws a bunch of WR screens.

Winston definitely is more pro ready but that windup of his is a killer. Like with Tebow, arm strength allows him to get away with it in college but the NFL is different.

Mariota has the classic skillset that thrives in a college spread but really struggles in the pros.

saw 2 nice long passes for both TD's by Mariota and lots of bonehead plays by Winston, like just now.

Now he's giving his coach shit? He slides into the 2nd or 3rd round because of his character issues.

Winston is cam without the legs. I'm telling u he's not going to be a great QB in the nfl. Just an average one imo

He's gonna be hearing about that last fumble for years and years, much to his displeasure.

I might take Winston in a late round. But only then.

Re: How the draft looks if we trade down

I LOL but I hate gimmick offenses. Baylor/Georgia Tech/Oregon all drive me insane. The results speak for themselves, but when you look at NFL players that are truly successful (Calvin Johnson) and not journeymen, those schools mostly are awful at developing offensive NFL talent.

Jimbo Fisher Threatens To Bench Jameis Winston

Major problem is this, Winston doesn't seem mature enough to be a nfl qb. I'd seriously worry about him if he was here during a losing streak aka our entire season. Could you imagine the dc media destroying him weekly?

Re: How the draft looks if we trade down

The last thing we need to be thinking about is drafting a qb with all the massive holes on this team. We need three new starting offensive linemen, a nose tackle, and defensive end. We need at least two big wr, big te, third down back, return special, two starting safeties. Robert Griffin and Kirk Cousins got their issues, but I'm not ready to get give up on either one. We need to focus on building our fronts. A dominate offensive improves both the running and passing game. At the moment, we have a well below average OL.
