Re: Super Bowl Gameday Thread
Great game now everyone is 0-0 again. Pats earned it this yr and brady was as good as he's ever been. But it's time for someone new in the afc so hopefully next yr it'll be different over there. As for the nfc it still goes through Seattle and GB imo

Pats will be good again because Brady is ageless. I think the Ravens are favorites too rite now in afc. Nfc - yeah seattle n gb. A long time until next January though alot can happen. A move or two or draftpick or two can put a few other teams in the running like Chiefs, Colts - hate to say it but Dallas or Philly. Arizona ? Thats why they play the game. |

Dallas is a pass rusher away from being really scary. Can the skins build a winner this summer?

Re: Super Bowl Gameday Thread
Just got home. I"m still in shock over that call on the 1 yard line. Bevell should just pack his bags after that horrendous fuck up. I'll never understand it. They blew the game worse than Green Bay did in my opinion. I imagine the press conference for beastmode going something like this:
Reporter: So Marshawn, what did you think about that last play call by Bevell? Marshawn: I'm just here so I won't have to choke that bitch.

No. Brady didn't stop the Seahawks on the goal line or this wouldn't even be in the discussion. If anything, these teams seem to gift wrap these types of games up for Tom. Wilson actually outplayed Brady that game. How about you give the Patriots defense some props. Hell, if the Seahawks run beastmode on that last play, you guys aren't even having this conversation. You would be talking about how Wilson outplayed Tom and the 2 INTs.

So Brady didnt march down the field and go 8-8 for 75 yards to win the game against a great defense? Come on man. How about Wilson had 12 completions. Brady made a couple bad passes but picked apart one of the greatest pass defenses in history on the biggest stage in the biggest moment and cemented his place in QB Greatness whether you like it or not. How about if a guy doesnt make a miracle catch on his back you arent even having this conversation. Lol |

Here is the thing, Tom wouldn't be a "choker" if they lost the game either. It works both ways. You guys give Tom way too much credit and discredit Belichick and that tremendous defense. In terms of Seattle's defense. Well, they didn't help matters much giving Tom extra chances by defensive off-sides on a 3rd and 3 giving them a 1st and a TD to Gronk. Let's put this notion aside that Tom is doing is all by himself, which is pretty much what you guys want to make it out to be. Also, the Seattle DBs didn't handle the NE WRs like they did Denver's last year. Huge difference in the results as well.

lol.....it's like you guys forget anything that helps Tom. It reminds me of these successful businessmen that act like they did it all on their own and had no help or "luck" along the way.

Re: Super Bowl Gameday Thread
Just stop dude. You obviously hate Brady. Youre not the only one. Not sure what else the guy can do though. Nobody said Brady did this all by himself. Neither did Montana or Bradshaw they were surrounded by HOF'ers. If you want to make the argument that its a team sport thats fine. You want to say the D played great or Edelman or Gronk played great than go ahead. But as far as the QB position goes Brady is as good as it gets.
