Typical blog (I admit this ought to go in to the debating with the enemies forum) we can't blame the person who did the bad thing because we know we all have that same thing...

We do all have our demons, some huge, some minor, but we also all have to deal with the consequences of our behavior. Her behavior on that tape was not good behavior and she has consequences from it. Not sure that as the article says "Let’s take this moment to acknowledge that we’re all a bit complicit and work to combat these ugly attitudes within ourselves" is the right response.

Not saying she should be fired, but one week was weak as hell by ESPN. For me it was the personal attacks on the appearance of the person taking the money. So uncalled for.

As a reporter Brit does nothing for me at all. Yeah she's nice to look at but so is every other women doing sports. She brings nothing to the table at all. Even when she was doing the local beat, just really nothing.

Regardless, what she said was just so out of bounds, I don't see how there's any way to defend what she said. In that situation be the better person, walk away and don't stoop to that level.

I don't necessarily agree she gets a pass, but I do wonder what went on in the parts of the video that were edited out.
