If your waiting for people in this country to stand up and be responsible, keep waiting.

If this sob would have just stood up and been accountable, with something along the lines of:

"This is a common practice along across the league and at every level of the game which I participated in...the league's standard of air pressure in the football is antiquated and needs revision. I should have taken a different direction and consulted the league to review the air pressure rules of the football. Even though I 100% do not believe this affected any outcome of any games, I am apologize for my actions, its wont happen again."

The media turds would then nod their heads in agreement and we wouldnt be here.
I'm sure at some point he'll come out and say something similar to what you're posting.

I get it, they're sticking up for their guy. We'd all be doing the same thing if Brady was our QB.

Thanks for posting this gem...lol

This is so typical of the NE fans out there today.

After Brady and Belichick retires I'm done with the NFL. Don't care if Goodell is canned by then. I'm done after that.

Yeah, we know asshole. It's the only reason you are a Patriots fan to begin with.

I am absolutely DONE the second Tom Brady retires. I am also done with this organization the second he leaves Foxboro. I will NEVER support an organization run by Bobby who has covered this bastard Goodell's ass OVER his OWN people.

Wow. Some people just amaze you. They act like it is their family member. It is a NFL team that honestly, could care less about you as an individual.

The funny thing is I feel that the CapGate penalty caused more harm to the Redskins than any of the Pats/Brady penalties.

And Brady did not cooperate with an NFL investigation and lied about his action to the league. So agreed, not the same situation; and as far as I know not the same fan response (see idiots who are protesting and raising money for the Pats).

that would be a good mid-summer thread/poll:

Which penalty do you think was more harmful?

I agree on all points made.

Patriots broke a rule and lied/covered up. We did something that was legal and within the CBA and still got punished. Since 28 teams all signed off on our punishment, I'd say we are down to 27 that need to get their just dues.
