we are what we are.we are 3-0,with a very good defense, and an offense that does just enough to win.i think the longer the season goes, the more trust coach gibbs gets gets in his offense, the more big plays we will see on offense.even in our super bowl years i dont recall us having a dominating defense like we have today.those past defenses lived on big plays.anyone who takes the so called experts seriously should have their head examined because most of them before the season picked either the lions, cardinals or vikings as the sleeper of the nfc this year so all i have to say is 3-0 and hail to the redskins!

I would say that dubious honor is here.

Any info would be great. I'll look around too.
I haven't done any research yet, but I can testify to a horrible 2-0 team. The Phoenix Cardinals under the head coaching of our beloved Joe Bugel started 2-0 in 1991. In their first game, they beat the unimpressive L. A. Rams 24-14. The following week, they clobbered the tough Philadelphia Eagles 26-10 (however, the Eagles had lost Randall Cunningham in the first game). In week 3, the Cards traveled to RFK for a clash with the 'Skins, who were also 2-0. It was supposed to be a clash for the division title, but we murdered them 34-0 and the rest is history. They finished 4-12 and I think Bugel was gone by the end of the season.

Correction: Bugel did remain after 1991 in Phoenix.

The 1998 New Orleans Saints coached by none other than Mike Ditka started 3-0 before a 6-10 finish.
