MLB playoffs.
Well I am going to the Angels vs.Yankees game in about 2 hr's.GO ANGELS!! It might not be football. But Baseball playoff games are a blast.I sure hope that the Halos can pull this out. It's always nice to beat the "Evil Empire".
Anyone else going to or watching any of the playoff games?

Re: MLB playoffs.
I don't watch baseball a whole lot. I just want the Yankees to lose.

Re: MLB playoffs.
I'll definitely be watching, baseball playoffs never disappoint. Could this finally be the White Sox' year?
It'd be kind of cool to see either Clemens take on Boston in the World Series, or Clemens and Pettite take on New York

Re: MLB playoffs.
I love baseball playoffs, they get me going good.
I'm a big Cardinals fan, so I'm rooting for them hardcore. I'd like to see them play the Yankees or have a rematch with the Redsox. Theres nothing like October baseball in New York and Boston. I think it will be Bos/NY ALCS, Hou/Stl NLCS, with the Yanks/Cards playing in the series. Damn, the White Sox just went up 5-0 on the BoSox in the FIRST!

Re: MLB playoffs.
Mussina came through tonight. He's banged up, but gave the Yankees what they needed tonight. Pressure is on the Halos. Randy is pitching Game 3. Tomorrow is a must win for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Re: MLB playoffs.
Last night sucked. Colon blew it. Lackey is picthing tonight for the Halos.I agree RedRockSkins. This game is HUGE for us.With Johson going against Washburn on friday in N.Y we really need this one. I think they can get it done. They have to get it done. I just hope I can get off work before 4:00 so I can get some tailgatting in.. If the Angels don't win tonight this might be my last baseball game untill March. How sad.

Re: MLB playoffs.
Well we won on Wednesday. If The Halos can some how beat the Big Unit tonight then the Yankees will be in a bad spot. The Angels need a least one win in N.Y so that we can play game 5 at home on Sun. I like are chances if we can get back home for game 5.
Go CALIFORNIA ANGELS!!!!

Re: MLB playoffs.
Did the Red Sox forget they actually had to play these games? The White Sox wasted no time with them

Moving forward, The Yankees have dropped their last 3 at YS in the playoffs and the last 2 years have lost elimination games in YS. The Angels need to really go for the kill in YS, though Chacon has been huge for us. I like our chances in Anaheim better, even with Colon on the mound. Moose was removed early in Game 1 just in case of Game 5 and Wang could be used in Game 5 also. |

Re: MLB playoffs.
I'm pretty disapointed my team didn't do anything to dispute the talk that they didn't deserve to be in the playoffs, but then again facing the Cardinals can do that to a team. still happy to see them do well again though and hopefully this will help make it more likely for them to spend money on free agents.
