Redskins ranked #8

Dr. Z from CNN has moved skins up to #8 from #14. Not bad.
He dropped Patriots out of top 10. LOL

Wow, I thought for sure he would mentioned our luck with the missed FG:

Washington Redskins (3-0)
The last contest was a tough, bitter, hard fought affair against the Seahawks, and do you know how many penalties were assessed on the Skins? Two for 10 yards. This is what is known as discipline, and I don't mean the kind you see at 2 a.m. on TV with the leather and the spikes.

I think he likes the discipline and how it leads to victories.

Re: Redskins ranked #8

Did anyone see our power ranking on Fox Sports? I'm not one to really care about it either way, the wins that counts....but over on fox were #18 behind the 1-3 Buffalo Bills.

FoxSports is for the husbands whose wives watch Desperate Housewives(with an average IQ somewhere short of 100). Sports Illustrated is for those of us that don't let our wives sit down to watch tv until the house is clean, im full, and the kid is in bed.(and who can read)

That's ridiculous... behind the Bills?

C'mon, they're horrible right now.

This is probably the most retarded power poll in the history of mankind.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/4931952

They have the Skins behind Dallas and Seattle, and barely ahead of Chicago.

This is why it looks so messed up. It really means nothing until the 8th week of the season.

Teams are ranked by a formula that combines the team's rating at the end of 2004, our 2005 pre-season projections, and 2005 actual performance. Each week, the first two items will become less important, and the last item more important. (2005 performance is now one-half of the rating, while last week it was just one-third.) By Week 8, we'll only be basing the ratings on this year's games, and starting the next week, we'll start using a formula that makes early games less important so that we can account for teams that are heating up at the end of the year.

See:

Man-gina, A man who lacks a penis or testicles, instead has only his wife's genitalia. Easily recognizable by the many Whip marks on his back.
