Who is Kirk Cousins?
Ever since Kirk Cousins three game audition at the end of the 2013 when Mike Shanahan shut RG3 down, he has played mostly below average. As we know Cousins played in a string of games last season after RG3 hurt his ankle. But too many interceptions got him benched. After being named the starter to the 2015 season Cousins has been very subpar... is Cousins a developmental quarterback who will one day mature from his turnover issues...or is this who he is and will never get better?

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
Only time will tell. The rest is just SPECULATION. The same speculation. .... every qb goes through early in his career. Point blank.

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
That interception to Revis was the sorriest and most pitiful INT I ever saw....the way Cousins looked off Ryan Grant seeing that Revis was covering him, eyed down field, and then came back to Grant and tossing the pick to Revis... there are countless backups, third stringers, and even quarterbacks on practice squads who would not have attempted that throw.

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
But i bet if you look at every one of Cousin's interceptions this year - freaking Grant is involved in some way...Not all of the picks have been solely KC's fault.
I still think if they give him the full season, he will start to improve and then that way at least he is in the battle for QB next off-season...

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
He's an international man of mystery and QB for the Redskins.

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
I am starting to get concerned how he struggles throwing out routes, that should not be an issue with a 4th year QB.

His arm is limited. Those type of throws just aren't his strength. |

Grant involved with 2 of 8 and only 1 did he share some blame. |

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
I have been real harsh on him this week, I have realized KC is just another guy, Rex Grossman, JC, Todd Collins, etc. He has a very AVG arm which I thought was much stronger than it was, he makes incredibly bad decisions, I'm talking freshman QB in college mistakes... The last 3 INTS he has thrown have been as bad as I've seen in the nfl in years.. Jon Gruden spoke about him today and basically said the skins are very limited on offense due to Kirk, I'm sure he is backing his bro a bit but he is right.

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
Kirk Cousins is a 27 year old, 4th year pro who throws more INT's than TD's.
Really not that complicated.

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
If we are going to be fair in the evaluation, then perhaps KC needs given the same amount of time as "others" (Campbell, RG3) despite wins and losses. I'm saying at least two full seasons as starter. Joe Theismann said yesterday that he thinks one of the problems with the skins is the fact that we change QB's so often. He thinks they should ride it out with KC to see if he can be the answer long term. Jason Campbell was never benched in almost 4 seasons and the dude played BAD at times....RG3 was stinking it up last year and earlier this year before the "concussion". I'm just saying they should be fair

Re: Who is Kirk Cousins?
