RIP Buddy.
I think a few of those Eagles teams had just as good a defense as the 85 Bears. Not sure if this has ever been done since but the 91 Eagles defense was #1 against the pass and the run.

Whether you liked him or not Buddy Ryan was a great defensive coach.

I found him entertaining....it felt especially good though, whenever the 'skins beat his butt!

I agree, like him or not...he could build a heckuva defense wherever he went.

That's a good article. RG3 is showing his ass in Cleveland it seems, still the "RGME" that we had here. He deliberately throws the ball away over a 16 foot high practice fence, he also is having plenty of "look at me" moments like after he slides, he gets up and says "Who says i can't slide", etc..

Such a cocky guy for a draft bust and someone who is going to be on a team that might win 3 games this year. I really thought he had changed his ways.

How can he have such a big ego when he sucks??

I hear what the writer is saying, but honestly -- he's been relatively quiet so far and hasn't posted much of his usual crazy nonsense on twitter. I feel like talking about throwing balls too high and joking about sliding -- is unfairly picking on the guy. The Browns can't hurt us -- I'm fine with rooting for Griffin to revive his career there for his sake.

Let the guy play, and let the play do the talking. Wish they'd leave him alone at least until the season starts...

Who is messing with him?

He spent a few years drawing everyone's attention to himself with "Operation Patience" and "All in for week 1."

I guess I missed Niles Paul's all in for week 1 L.A. Gear campaign.

He wanted to stand out, he hyped himself to the moon, he fed into making himself a national story (which the Cleveland QB battle is now only because of him).

He doesn't get to turn it all off just because he wants to or should.

He will probably own a franchise after this season:

Successories Motivational Posters, Employee Recognition Gifts & Awards

PS. I wish Kirk would forget about the "You like that" thing too. Just play.

In all fairness to Kirk, he wasn't really the one who made a huge deal out of the catch phrase - it was the media, and then the fans. He just used it to make some t-shirts that helped raise money for charity - I think that's a great thing. It's not like he's leading a "You Like That?" Chant in OTAs every time he completes a pass.

RIP Buddy, but you died a loser against the Redskins; lifetime 3-8 against Gibbs.

Luck with crazy money from Indy -- 1st 3 years guaranteed at $75MM. If I am representing Cousins, I tell him to take the franchise tag this year and gamble that with our O line and receivers he has a better year than Luck, and then negotiate for something massive thereafter.

Luck should pay Cousins 1 million for the rights to:

YOU LIKE THAT!!!

Massive Folly by the Colts for an underwhelming qb. I get he will be their starter for the foreseeable future, but I have never been on his bandwagon, and doubt I ever will.

He got the Flacco 2.0 contract. For that kind of money he needs to have 2007' Brady or 2013 Manning years, but I doubt his ceiling will ever be on par with Brady or Manning's. He might be above average but that's not above average money.

That's ridiculous money. I really hope we don't end up paying Cousins that kind of money. He ain't worth it and neither is Luck. How do they expect to put players around him and resign their own guys?

They aren't going to be able to unless they draft very well, and that sure hasn't happened lately.

Flacco was coming off a Super Bowl win...he's been garbage since. Tennessee, Jacksonville and Houston all got better this offseason...time for luck to man up. Gonna be fun to watch
