34 Knile Davis RB 24 5-10 227 4 Arkansas
1 Darrin Reaves RB 23 5-10 215 2 UAB 13 De'Anthony Thomas RB 23 5-8 176 3 Oregon 32 Spencer Ware RB 24 5-10 229 3 LSU 35 Charcandrick West RB 25 5-10 205 3 Abilene Christian These are the listed RB behind starter Jamal Charles. I think West is clearly the #2. Spencer Ware or Knile Davis could be available....especially if either Reaves and De'Anthony play especially well. Ware and Davis are both #2 style backs. Great size, cut-back, bruising style ability

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
reportedly Derek Carrier could return in a few weeks. It would make the TE position even more crowded

Great, informative article by Mike jones who talks about special teams and a good wrap up of the first week. He gives his surprises and what/who he needs to see more of...the biggest issue he sees is the d-line needs to play better...and they need someone to emerge. Stephen paea is playing with the second units...this dude needs to step the fuck up

My buddy is a huge CHI fan, said Pea was a total waste. Just flashes in the pan at times.

Never. McC is saying Matt Jones is gonna shock people with how big of a year he is gonna have....interesting. News bout the RB has been relatively quiet in camp so far.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Literally just got back from afternoon practice...wow perfect weather today too.
Couple things stood out...first cousins looked good today. Really knows where to go with the ball. I thought all the qbs looked solid. Nate even had a really great throw to Ross. When the skins 1st and 2nd teams were going against each other, the offense concentrated on running the ball and our Oline seemed to really dominant. Jones looked really solid...looked bigger. Seven on seven, the first throw went deep to desean jax on I believe a stop and go route corner of end zone. The best player on the field today made a play a with a big interception, breeland. Breeland had several standout plays and looked like the best corner. Also to note, Vernon Davis looked good. cousins connected with him on a great throw today at the end of seven on seven. It was a standout throw and big catch. Davis looks to be ready to go this year. Our TE look stout and physical when they are standing together...good group. Ok near the end of practice after some special teams work, then the offense went against defense again this time with cousins throwing the ball. Ok, I watched cousins pick on Norman 3 consecutive plays. First one, him desean were super physical on a comeback route but desean went high and plucked it out the air...only for like 5 yards, but it was a battle. Desean looked good today. I believe Ryan grant then next then ran like a square in and plucked it in front of Norman. Shortly after that, cousins hooked up with Reed on a great seem route with desean on the outside and Reed inside slot. Hall came in to help Norman on desean and Reed went quickly up the middle of the field, great throw by cousins. Norman looked a lil shaky today. He's close to making a play, but always out of reach. With so much attention of throwing against Norman, cousins ran a pump fake at desean vs Norman and came back across to the other side looking for grant running an out and up to the middle of field. Grant had space but breeland came under him out of nowhere to tip the ball just out of grant reach. Bruton was there to lay lumber on grant if he would have caught it and told the fans on the side line they woulda been a fine if real game. Bruton has a real physical presence in the back field, he is pretty tall, broad shoulder. I thought our secondary looks solid. Fuller stood out on a couple plays. Gruden worked a lot with the receiving Corp on the sidelines and the QBs. I'm really interested to see how this defense will come together. Our ilb Corp is gonna be good to watch these preseason games...they are battling there.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
I'm really excited to see this team on the field. It's that time of year when you are glad to be hearing football news, but want the real games to start NOW!!
Hopefully they live up to the hype and excitement that this boring training camp is generating! |

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
Well I guess that wasn't Matt jones today cause he sat out...no wonder this guy looked bigger...had big dreads too. Maybe it was Marshall? Could have been Robert kelly? Lotta dreaded up rb...except for Thompson, saw him for sure.

Re: Redskins Training Camp '16
I've been saying for the last 2 years Breeland is our best CB, even with Norman there. What I worry about is when his contract is up will we resign him or let him go? Part of me didn't want Norman cause we can't have 2 very expensive CB's. I guess it's a good problem to have and then there's Fuller.
