If we only drafted Cousins, the Shannahans would still be here and we'd be a lot better because we'd have additional players that we missed out on by giving up picks.

Mike would have still been the quasi GM which I think is bad; but hey Kyle is extending Chris Chester's career.

I'm still not sold on it but I can't think about Mike objectively.

Interesting to think about.

Sam Bradford will be a pro bowl QB in Minnesota. Norv Turn is a great offensive coordinator. He will develop a game plan that accentuates his skill set.

We are better with Scott M as GM. I know it is a slow process but we need to be patient. It will pay off in a while.

I think in 2 years we will have developed a 5 year window of greatness.

Yep totally agree. Live through the draft.

For perspective:
Washington Redskins Salary Cap - Over the Cap

The money spent on defense this year only makes up 22% of the total cap.

That's an unbelievable ratio in the NFL but it is part of the plan to build through the draft and let the cap play out how it will.

Cravens, Fuller, Murphy, Smith (hopefully), etc, etc, are all home grown.

Mara and the Giants just spent $100 million and what have they got to show for it.

We are finally have a real GM like GB and CIN, looking at the long run.

Is Bradford "the guy" in MIN? Bridgewater might be back in 2018, but already rumors that he may never play again. I would say stick with Bradford..

edited because i just realized i said "Stick with Bridgewater", when i was thinking "stick with Bradford"
