Re: Skins vs Carolina Pre Game
It's hard to picture this being a blowout either way. It's going to be another close game, probably 6-7 points determines the winner. I think the Redskins pull it off by winning the turnover battle and running the ball well. Look for Fat Rob to have a big day.

Re: Skins vs Carolina Pre Game
Kirk is a must start this wk in FF.. He's going to have 300 yards and at least 2 TDs. Skins are hungry and motivated after that win sunday.. Plus eventually we will win again on MNF. Car will keep it close but we win 28-24.

Toughest Offensive Tackle: Trent Williams The four-time Pro Bowler. The classic Beast. Trent has all the physical tools. But what separates him is that he’s also the most mentally tough guy I’ve ever seen. He has that swag about him that makes him almost more like a defensive player. He loves talking to you. Usually it’s just the defensive guys talking — “I’m on your ass all day, bruh!” But Trent has that defensive mentality on the other side of the ball. Some tackles, they just want to not get beat, but Trent is always in attack mode. The battle at the line of scrimmage is like a 12-round boxing fight. He’s going to get some punches in, and I’m going to get some punches in. What makes a great offensive lineman is the ability to take a shot on the chin and get right back up and not be rattled. If Trent gets beat, he knows it’s part of the game. He doesn’t get passive — he’s right back on your ass the next play. His mind-set is like, “You beat me? Alright, you got lucky on that play. Let’s go.” That’s the confidence you need to be great over four quarters. He’s the toughest guy on the field every single play.

Re: Skins vs Carolina Pre Game
I think like all of our remaining games, this one is going to be hard. Stating the obvious i know, but our defense is going to have to be at least average and not let them hang 35 - 40 points on us. As others have pointed out it is going to be a very close game, likely coming down to the final possession.
We will need to be turnover free and run the ball very well. Settling for field goals even when Hopkins can make them, isn't going to win the day. But Kirk and the offense should have a big day. 300 + Yards, probably 3 TD's passing. Redskins: 34 Panthers: 31

Re: Skins vs Carolina Pre Game
I'm a broken record about our defense,Our defense sucks so bad,and both Compton and Cravens probably miss this game,I don't think we can stop Cam.I dont think this team has ever stopped him,going by memory seems like he always plays really well against us.{only 5 td passes last yr}
Cousins is going to have to bring his A game I believe for us to win{that means no pick 6 Kirk}

I think the defense has been playing so tight since the Detroit game. That last drive seemed to shake their confidence a lot. I'm hoping after the eagles game and the big stop maybe they gain a little bit of that confidence back

Speight and Compton are basically the same. Losing cravens would suck

Re: Skins vs Carolina Pre Game
I can envision a win, but expecting a blowout is comical. These guys destroyed us last time. Our
D has to play lights out for 3 games for us to make the big dance. If they don't the guys will be playing golf in January. |
