Owens Likely to Play, Griffin Doubtful
Despite Terrell Owen's recent ankle injury and recent derogatory comments about the Eagles and quarterback Donovan McNabb, he said he expects to play Sunday night.
Meanwhile, Cornelius Griffin has been downgraded to "doubtful" on the Redskins injury list. Griffin, the Redskins only true pass rushing D-lineman, was listed as "questionable" yesterday. |

sucks for us, but i doubt owens will have a huge impact. as long as we can get some pressure on mcnabb, we should be good enough to keep it close.

just remember what Owens did in the Super Bowl coming off a broken leg? But McNabb is not the same player he was then.

Owens only needs to make one big play to have an impact. During the game, the Iggles will get along with him just fine.

Expect both Owens and McNabb to play and to play with all they've got. It's Eagles vs Redskins. It's on. Also expect Taylor and Arrington to play them very physically. There will be several attempts at knock out hits on both sides of the ball. Should be fun to watch live and hopefully 12th man will witness a great moral victory Sunday night on prime time tv!!!

I'm seriously concerned about Griffin's absence. With Griffin, I think we get enough pressure and win. Without Griffin and with all the other D-line injuries, I think we are going to have trouble on defense.

I recall last year in D.C. when we had the opportunity to win that game and T.O. was not a factor. He turned the ball over on our 4 yard line when Antonio Pierce force it out. Mark Brunell will win this game because of his efficiency and low turnover ratio. He leads the league with only three INTs and 12 TDs. I am more concerned about that weak side of the defense and whether or not GW can fix this five week problem in time to save our season. This is the biggest problem and Williams has to do make a statement this game.
