Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
If it wasn't for chase young, we would not be mad at Tua going to us at #2

Yeah I would, Haskins hasn’t shown anything to make us think he’s a bust. In fact I’d say his bust potential is low. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
Glad you are back safely. Do not think 3 picks will be offered. A very tough decision if so but Simmons, a LT and a top tier WR sound great. But so does Chase Young. If Skins can get that high offer no complaint but much less, no thanks.

Agree, if we wanted #2 pick we would have to give up a lot.

Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
He was great the last 2 weeks, I believe he can be good. Tua has the higher upside w/out the injuries of course.

Also i wonder how far DH would have dropped if we didn't draft him. I am leaving this one up to RR.

Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
I'm not saying that we should draft Tua. I just don't see any reason to avoid drafting a promising young QB this year or any year. For example, Jordan Love or Jalen Hurts could become good NFL QB's. It is my understanding that the rosters have been expanded by one more player for next season. There is your opening to carry a third QB. Why not have two young QB's and a veteran backup? Why wait to add and develop a second young QB when your starter could be hurt at any time? Also, if your starter falters, why not have another young QB who has had some development time and is ready to go? Does the name Kirk Cousins sound familiar?

Never said I fully believe in Haskins, I don’t think anyone is saying that.
He gave us just enough where I want to see more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Taking your statement above why not draft Tau and let the best man win at the most important position in football. You could "see" both at the same time.

Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
Although it could be used as an argument to draft Tua, I didn't intend it that way. I was thinking the Skins could go ahead and draft Chase Young or trade the pick for a king's ransom. Then, if another QB they like falls in the draft they shouldn't hesitate to draft him.

Re: Chase Young or Three First Round Picks?
Drafting Tua means passing on a (supposed) generational talent in Chase Young.
Tua's injury history makes the decision a little easier for me. But let's pretend Tua will never be hurt again .... I still say Chase Young is a better value. |
