Re: WFT v Seattle predictions/pregame talk
Offense has to score this week and has to score at least 30 imo...

Re: WFT v Seattle predictions/pregame talk
Alex Smith at 70-60 percent or Haskins at QB?

Their pass defense is statistically terrible, unfortunately our pass offense IS terrible. I think a healthy AS could find the holes and exploit them but Is he healthy is the question of the week. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Re: WFT v Seattle predictions/pregame talk
Seattle has scored 30+ in 8 of 13 games, and held under 20 only twice. The offense will definitely have to score, but my bet is 21-24 points should do it if this defense continues to roll. Wilson has been sacked 40 times, second only to Carson Wentz...that bodes well.

Re: WFT v Seattle predictions/pregame talk
Need to come out fired up out the gate, can’t fall behind with this team. Their OL is not that good, our D can put some pressure but will need to be disciplined. Wilson is probably the best at making big plays when scrambling or a play breaks, their WR are dangerous and their D strength is their LB’s and CB’s.

Re: WFT v Seattle predictions/pregame talk
Slim margin for error this week, it will take a complete effort across the board if we expect to be in this game.
I hope our d will stack up well against Seattle's offense, but this week really hinges on who is under center and how well they play. If we can't put at least 20 on the board, it's an L.

One thing I would rather not see anymore is Hopkins trying 50+ yard field goals. Put the ball in Tress Way's hands to try to pin them back, and let the defense go to work.

edit: on the rankings chart posted in the SF postgame thread, it has Seattle's LB's as #1, but their CB's and Safeties ranked 21 and 23 respectively. That is not good for Logan Thomas, but I hope TM and other WR's can find space. We just need Alex as qb to get it to them. (and Sims Jr not to drop the ball) |

Re: WFT v Seattle predictions/pregame talk
One thing this defense seems to be is VERY disciplined. The front 4 especially seem to trust each other to do their jobs (CY said that was a key to his fumble recovery) and not overplay their position. I think between SF tape against Seattle and NYG's game 2 weeks ago, our defense ought to have a very good game plan to limit Seahawks offense.

Re: WFT v Seattle predictions/pregame talk
Does anyone know if Gibson is practicing today? I can't find any updates on his status.

Winter weather expected in DC tomorrow - that means don’t expect media at practice. Which means no in person Alex Smith or Antonio Gibson updates. My personal opinion based on my Warpath Doctorate Degree (still more of a dr than Jill)...I’d be shocked if Gibson plays this week. Bad Turf toe is a multi week injury
