Arrington back in DC? (speculation)

Heard a rumor tonight that NYG is not willing to pay Arrington what he wants. Possible to have him back in DC next season? Anyone heard anything new?

Re: Arrington back in DC?

Unfortunately no link and no supporting evidence. Was told by a local reputable source that he heard that NYG didn't wanna pay him and he might end up back in DC for what he's worth. Guess I wanna believe we could get him back, keep him from joining the Giants and pay him what he's actually worth. I'll save my Arrington moments til the truth arises about this rumor. I do think it's interesting that Arrington hasn't signed with any team yet. Not Miami, not Pittsburgh, not NYG and not PHI or DAL. Please post if you've any knowledge or specualtion on this topic...

Re: Arrington back in DC?

The latest is that the Dolphins are trying to sign Arrington but the problem is the same as with the Giants and other teams who are interested; he wants too much money. The Postons need the cash for their lawyers who are fighting Carl's suspension as an agent.

Let him go. It would be like bringing back a bad wife after a divorce.

if he wants money, that's omething we just don't have. I doubt he's coming back here for vet min to work with a coach he hates when he's fishing for a 54$mill deal. It's not happening.

He's headed to miami or jacksonville once he lowers his price.

Re: Arrington back in DC?

why would the redskins want a player that is in it for the money?not that all of those guys arent, but arrington has made a crapload off the redskins and i would think after all those losing seasons, sooner or later you would want to try and win something

If your Lavar, your thinking..............what a GREAT JOB the "brothers Poston" are doing for me!!!!!! First, their incompetence hosed me outta' 6.5M on the Skins bonus deal. Next (on there advice) I give back 4M more so I can...........................NOT GET PICKED somewhere else, because I cost TO MUCH...........because of the money I need to recover due to Poston Losses. Incredible!!!!!!! Good call Carl

NO WAY!Hell will freeze over before #56 walks back into FedEx field wearing burgandy and gold.He wanted to leave,we gave him his out,He paid back $4 Mil and left for another team but Now nobody wants him,Can you blame them seeing his last couple of years? He isnt worth much anymore,My Prediction:He signs with Miami for a 3 year deal worth 4 Million and gets a opt out clause after 1 year with incentives so he can showcase if he still has talent or not and then heads out to New York after that season. As long as he stays Away from DC we will be ok.

Re: Arrington back in DC?

Um where are you getting the part about him being back in DC? Seems like that is all your speculation, and it really makes this thread look more imp that it actually is.

Re: Arrington back in DC?

No way he would come back, he clashed with our coaches and it's quite obvious the coaches weren't too keen on him either. He needs a fresh start somewhere else.

right now he wants over 7.5mill per year. We have what? 3mill this year without draft pick signings, and a position coach that doesn't want him.

I hope he ends up in Jacksonville. If I could see them play more, they'd be one of my favorite teams. I pretty much like everyone there and I'm a huge Leftwich fan. I would be happy to see him end up in JAX.
