wow, that'd be retarded. if he held out, how exactly does he think that being a greedy malcontent is somehow going to get him more money? Sittign out a year doesn't typically raise draft stocks. It'd kill his endorsement value too.

I would love to see him on the field the 13th for the bengals!!!.....just a little question to see what you guys think....with McIntosh in there do u think there is a harder hitting team other than our redskins?? it seems as if we are just going to crack skulls this year ...cant wait!!!

I would think that Rocky's contract would be somewhat "sloted". Isn't that the term they use for guys beyond the first 4 or 5 picks? Where it is generally undersood that his salary and signing bonus are between x and y and there is not much to negotiate.

I've been wondering about his signing too. I figure it'll get done this weekend.
Hopefully Rocky can contribut right away in nickel packages, I agree w/others that said GW will work him into rotation but not start him right off.

During Gibbs press conference he said it was a done deal but that maybe reality had to set in on the other side. So I don't know if theres any trouble with his agents or whatever or what that means, because Gibbs did sound optomistic when he said "basically done".
