Yeah, if they said it looks minor than I'm not going to pay too much attention to it. I have had sprains that only hurt for a couple days at most and that is what it sounds like he has. If the sprain was more severe, then people would have made more note of it. For example, I sprained my ankle one time and it swelled up to the size of a grapefruit and I knew that was a pretty serious sprain. The symptoms were definitely there since I couldn't walk or put any weight on it.
Bottomline: Taylor is fine! |

Sprains can become chronic though.
My main concern is that every moment on the field from now until gametime is crucial, esspecially if he's slated to start. The off the field downtime will probably end up being more serious than the injury itself. |

I didn't realize Smoot was being a press agent. I thought he was providing uw with his expert medical opinion...

According to the local news, the MRI's came back negative, no tears or anything. He's being listed as "Day to Day"

Every player out there during the season is playing with something. I just hope he can suck it up.

I love it when players are listed as "day-to-day". Aren't we all here on a "day-to-day"basis? Here today; gone tomorrow...
For me, I'll be looking up at grass roots. For an NFL player, he'll be a contributor and then he'll be ... whatever... Day-to-day. |

He's doing a pretty good job too. Can you imagine Smoot being a reporter? Would anyone understand what he's saying? |
