only in this case he got a 90 in speed, which is pretty decent. Our entire team seems pretty fast this season.

90 is great speed for a safety.
Last year in madden my friend was always the steelers, who had troy palamalu, their first round pick at safety. Becuase Troy had a speed of 90 it made him be able to do so mcuh for. For example, safety blitzes. They dotn work unless you have a speedy safety. the other this is if you run zone, like cover 2, and they have a fast receiver, he will be wide open once he gest past the corner zone, then will usually out run the safety if he isnt fast. Problem with troy though is he had no hands, would never get a pick, Taylor is definitly a much better safety. But kinda in the mold of troy, where they look like linebackers out there.

cooley ended up as a 69 in madden, fyi. Which I think is generous, very excited about that.
