Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
It's not, the eagles suck and the Redskins will play much better with our men, Vincent and Springs, leading the secondary. I think Vincent earned instant leadership with that blocked kick. He'll have a couple of tips about playing McNabb and the other guys on the secondary will probably have a more receptive ear.

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
Agreed 724. Vincent should get the nod over Arch this week, despite the contract issue. Springs may be feeling better physically too, who knows.
But the longer Arch stays on the bench the better. |

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
I saw it on the local news. He said that when he came on board that the players were frustrated and upset with the coaching staff and play calling, but that he knew there was talent and everyone wanted to win so he was trying to get the guys to relax and just play football. He said at his age he know he wasnt the answer and only wanted to add value to a team that was not balanced. He was trying to be vague, but it was quite clear.

I can see it now... Greg williams: "Yo, double A, sorry to call so late but I wanted you to know that the game time has been changed. No really! Since it's gonna be a hot playoff implicating game they're changing it to Monday night. Remember how they added that "flex schedule" for the latter part of the season? Well, this is one of those times. See you Monday night!

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
If we are trying to win the division, this is most likely a must win.
But I understand that this is by far the toughest game we have left on our schedule. Really the only truly unfriendly environment we have left vs a good team. Considering that 10-6 probably gives us a playoff berth, I wouldn't write the season off if we lose. We will need a certain degree of luck to win this game. Having Andre Carter will help vs the Eagles passing game. If he can be disruptive consistently, we can win this one.

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
philly has a better line/QB and a better team. we'll see how we do. dropping the eagles games means 3-3 BEST case for the division, which means we won't have tie breakers (our NFC record isn't hot either).

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
definitely a winnable game, it wont be easy, but winnable. the eagles havent beat anyone of class yet, and are the most overrated team in the league right now IMO. coming off a bye week though i think...figures

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
I dunno Big C, the Eagles are a very dangerous team. They've looked very inconsistent, but they've looked dominant at times. I just don't know which Eagles team is going to show up. The Eagles throw the ball very well and Lord knows our secondary has trouble covering.

Re: Next on Deck: The Eagles
Mean Green will be ready. We made them look bad twice last year. We will have to play even better than we did today.
