Well Moss is our best receiver. And without Portis he's probably our best player on offense. If he's healthy I expect Moss to be the primary target. I would hope he is.

If our passing game takes off, we could definitly see a resurgence in the running game.

Imagine if CP we're given an offense where he wasn't the main threat...

Also Betts looks great when theres open field... makes excellent 1v1 moves.

My feeling is that Cooley will become much more involved now. Young QB's need to have that good receiving TE and rely on them when under pressure. Also, Campbell does have mobility, has shown the ability to pull it down and run out of bounds when the receiver is covered rather than force it and will throw it away in the redzone when coverage is tight. He will also take a sack. Keeping the O on the field will help the defense too. This is the right time for this move.

Re: Interesting take by Mort on QB change

i hate to say it but this move should have been made after the bye week. I like what campbell brings to the table he has all the tools minus the experience. Lets hope he (campbell) was worth all we gave up. Never been much of a brunell fan would have rather seen Ramsey in saunders' offense. He had the arm to make all the throws. I dont want to rehash the ramsey thing but i think he would have thrived in a down the field passing offense.

It's worth a look at the Washington Redskins video of Thursday practice cam. He looked nice and relaxed (no live fire).

He needs a nice series on his first possession to get in the groove then he'll take the Bucs secondary apart. We have the WR's to support him doing that and L Betts and TJ Duckett for run support.
