I think Betts gets it. Grinding out 104 yds against the Panther's D is no easy task. That eased up the load on JC

Rogers because he was starting to have most of us really worried and now at least we know that the potential is there. He was really really good yesterday.

I agree......Many people were saying the same thing as we left the stadium. Granted there were individual standouts, but Sunday's game was a total team effort, offense, defense & ST.

I can't give just one man the gameball. For the first time this season we played as a team, they all deserve it.

Re: Skins/Panthers Game Ball

this one's hard. carlos, cause he REALLY stepped up and played like he belonged in the NFL for the first time this season. Taylor had two game changing plays though, and cooley continued his break out (5tds in 6 games).

i'd give it to the OL before betts though. he just took what was there.

I pick Cooley, cause he was always there when campbell needed a big play, plus he blocked fairly well along the edges. However, I've been allover rogers the past few weeks, questioning his character, he finally showed that he is capable of being a true redskins when he hushed the critics (ME) this week, so he deserves just as much credit. Keyshawn and steve are great receivers, shutting them down is unheard of like they did.

I'm giving it to Carlos Rogers, he was ALL OVER yesterday. Made play after play in the secondary. That whole D stepped it up, and all those listed played great, and then some.

Good point. TE blocking is overlooked by many in this league, and we simply don't have much of it this year. One thing I noticed since Cooley came into the league is that he has become a much better blocker seemingly every week. I really think that even though this season has been marred by drops, he has become the complete player at TE, and I'm not sure there is any receiver in the league I would rather have than Cooley. He does it all. It would be nice if we had a blocking TE to pair with him so we could quit keeping him in on passing downs and get him in space on those crucial downs.

torry holt? reggie wayne? TEs are easier to get... he was a pass catching fullback in college (that almost NEVER blocked). he was definitely a find and shows the value of 2nd and 3rd round draft picks.

and fauria was supposed to be that blocking TE, but he either lost it or he was playing hurt, cause what i saw this year was non-existant, and i thought he was a good signing. There really wasn't anyone else available in FA though.
