On those websites i listed in a previous post, they kind of knock on Rocky Mountain Radar. I'm not saying they're gospel but supposedly they are reputable sites. It seems like Valentine One and Escort are some of the best... I bought my brother a relatively cheap Cobra for christmas, like $200 and that one got average reviews... I'll let you know how it works after I talk to him.

It says 4 hours, however, I just let it go on it's own and it died about 3.25 hours in. Not bad...I can always recharge it on a layover.

This is also my 13th Redskins jersey. It never gets old!
I never understood what a "replithentic" jersey was. I just don't get it. What's the difference?

A replithentic has sown on letters and numbers but may be slightly off on colors, and the fabric is not what is worn on the field. It's made in mass quanities...authentics are very specific on what was worn on the field and unique.
Honestly, I love replithentics, because the average person has no clue it's not authentic, and they are often a 3rd of the cost, or at least half the cost.
Joe just deserved more!

Thanks for the links...I went and re read your post and did reviews of those sites, and it seems that the one I pointed out sucks.
I should go with the Bel pro RX65.
PRO Beltronics RX-65 Pro Radar Detector (RX65): Compare Prices, View Price History and Read Reviews at NexTag
Here are some prices.

It seems it is universal that the bel pro RX65 is the best detector on the market.

I just installed my new c.d. burner, it was a huge pain in the ass. It better not crap out on me six months from now like my last one did.

Re: Share your Christmas gifts...

It was definately a Redskins Christmas for me. Here's the list of items I got.

Riggins jersey
Gary Clark autographed mini helmet
Fed Ex Field model
Framed photo of Darrell Green
Framed photo of Fed Ex Field
2 pairs of Redskins flannel pants
Flag for the house
Redskins sticky note pad
Redskins earrings
And a Redskins helmet nightlight My mom still thinks I'm five apparently.

The only non-related Redskins stuff I got was cash, a gift card to Sports Fan Attic (which I will use to buy more Redskins stuff) and a red sweater.

Let's see. A bunch of clothes, a few gift cards, items for my home office, Sirius Sportster boombox, bluetooth headset, a few dozen golf balls, Talladega Nights, Green Street Hooligans, Lucky Number Sleven. That's what I remember off the top of my head...

Re: Share your Christmas gifts...

I don't celebrate x-mass hence no gifts given and no gift received. I will say this though, I always manage to spoil myself around this time of year. I got myself the new Blackjack phone and if it were not for the shortage I'd have a PS3 under my phantom Christmas tree.

RMR-C450 NEW radar laser detector and jammer
Stay away:

Quote:
Rocky Mountain Radar RMR-C450 ($269.95)

Rocky Mountain Radar receives credit for inventing the bogus radar jammer, an event we were the first to inform the world about well over a decade ago. (Automobile magazine, “The Little Jammer That Couldn’t”, June 1993). Then they introduced the bogus laser jammer, which we amply documented in stories for Automobile, the BMW Roundel, Car Audio and Electronics, AUTOTronics and a host of other magazines, both here and abroad.

More recently, Rocky Mountain Radar hooked up with a Korean manufacturer of cheap radar detectors and bingo, here’s the RMR-C450, a radar detector that RMR claims can also magically jam all radar and lasers. When introduced, it was known as the RMR-D450. Rocky Mountain Radar has a long history of immediately renaming their products as soon as word spreads in the media that they’re ineffective. (Within weeks of my 1993 Automobile story hitting the newsstands, they’d already relabeled each of their products.) This strategy also gives them what appears to be a broad product lineup, despite the fact that all of their working models (the jammer-only models are complete hoaxes) are based on only three platforms, meaning that six to eight models can be identical inside, differing only in appearance.

The jamming ability of the Rocky Mountain Radar RMR-C450 (or RMR-D450, take your pick; it's the same box) was nonexistent, failing entirely to jam any of the guns. (If you’re truly curious, open its case; you won’t find anything inside that’s remotely capable of jamming anything.)

We did find, however, that by removing the Rocky Mountain Radar RMR-C450 from the dash and substituting its cardboard box, a slight reduction in maximum laser target range was achieved.

If you’re looking for a less expensive alternative, Rocky Mountain Radar offers the Phazer II ($179.95), priced lower because it’s not a detector and claims only to be a jammer. But having tested the Phazer, both the original and the Phazer II (look for a Phazer III not long after this story comes out), we can say with complete assurance that it jams absolutely nothing.

Bottom line: Save money: put an empty cardboard box on your dash instead.

Rating: no stars

Re: Share your Christmas gifts...

Sig Sauer P239 .40 from my parents to use as a backup gun.

Oh, I also worked a suicide on Christmas day. Guy got into a fight with his wife, went into his garage and put a bullet through his left temple. That was a real nice Christmas gift.

My life is very strange lately...
