Yes, Mr. Williams ego has come back to earth (unfortunately not his bank account) and if he isn't careful so is his reputation and job!

Gregg Williams needs to look at his game planning in my opinion. They ran probably north of 50% of their running plays to one side, and we didn't make any adjustments.
I agree. NC would help but we need help in the front 7 first before we go after a corner.

Tiki Barber used to be a fumbling machine until he started holding the ball differently, maybe now that Tiki will have the time next season, maybe he can work with Betts.

That's not true. We beat Minnesota to end 04 and Ramsey looked good in that game. We scored 21 points which was kind of the benchmark Gibbs had set for success. Plus we were returning one of the top defenses in the league.

We are not going to be able to fix every part of this defense over the offense but we can, at least, make some improvements so that they will not look as bad as they did this year. Maybe we can get by with the improvements and the offense that seems as if it is going to be a pretty good one and we can work on the rest of the defense during the next off season.

I think he was meaning opposite as being...
'if our offense can just become average, our defense can carry us'

Re: Redskins-Giants Postgame Thoughts

We only have one pick in the first 3 rounds? We need to address the DBs first, there's a lot of talent coming out of college next year in the linebacker position that could very easily slip through the cracks, I think if we can pick up a 3rd round pick we could pick up HB blades out of pitt, hes a pretty nasty linebacker

Today, was the first time I saw him play. Although he is not a better ATHLETE than Vick or Young, I think he can definitely be a better QB than Vick. Not sure about Young.

Kid's got potential, and offseason of work will make him that much better!

Re: Redskins-Giants Postgame Thoughts

Given the way the defense once again blew the game, we need to evaluate Gregg Williams' value to the team. I mean, how many coordinators who finish 31st or 32nd at what they do keep their jobs?

Not many have as many injuries and made so many mistakes in the free agency picking at fools gold as he has. After 2 fantastic seasons you want his head after one bad one, GL with that.

Fear not, Giants ownership will be blinded by the "play-off appearance" and give Coughlin an extension. Coughlin will then "con" the 'skins into allowing Williams to come be a co-defensive coordinator to work with Tim "as soon as Pittsburgh fires me they finally win the Super Bowl" Lewis, for next season.

Every team has inuries - look at the Giants. And, Williams' previous two years mean absolutely nothing tonight as we end the season with Gibb's worst record EVER.
