Re: The legacy of 'W'?
Hmmm, Warner is probably not red state pedigreed. It's really tough to come up worth VP candidates right now but I would think as we approach the primaries some of these names will surface.

What's with all this Richardson and Arizona talk? What does he have to do with Arizona? Isn't he New Mexico?

The only recount worth considering, in my view, is the hand-counted one which found for Gore, the law at the time stipulating that recounts should be hand counted, or so I believe and do defend. No, I didn't confuse 8,000 for 80,000, but even 8,000 proves fraud if deliberately scrubbed and would certainly have given the election to Gore. |

Re: The legacy of 'W'?
Nice...I didn't even realize you had a masters like me. I swear that was my greatest accomplishment. I hated school...I still have no clue how I did it. Congrats to you man...I know how tough that is to get! I'm proud of you.

No shame in that man. Watch out though, there are some insane equines trotting around here who may not like having to talk down to your level

Anyhow, back to this thread. W's legacy will probably be impacted also by who succeeds him. If nothing changes or improves in the next several years is W "absolved?"

Re: The legacy of 'W'?
I will never say anything negative to someone that is trying to get there. For me it was the toughest thing I have ever had to personally do. (not including having to go through the death of my daughter and almost death of my wife...I'm talking accomplishments.)
I had a minor league contract as a pitcher, and I blew my shoulder out and lost it all...I have been an all american soccer player (second team)...I played in the NAIA div. 1 all star teams for softball and football. I scored 6 goals and 3 assists playing hockey on a broken ankle...still nothing beat that feeling I had getting the masters degree. It was just very hard for me, so I see it as the greatest accomplishment for me, and I don't begrudge anyone that trys or even doesn't try...it's hard and I wish you the best of luck. If you need a cheerleader to get there, then I will be there for you. I know it's tough!
