Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I think the quote of the day, is we lost games we deserved to win (both NYG/GB)...now we defintley won one that we should have lost.....I mean I'm very excited/happy we won...but that was one of the ugliest wins I've ever seen.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I was thinking the same exact thing. This was a game we clearly deserved to lose.. In the paper that win counts as much as the Lions win but we'll take it.

Why they don't give this man more playing time I don't know! What the hell is the point of getting McCardell and Caldwell when you're not gonna freakin use them?

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Yeah I have to take back the stuff about JC. A QB is only as good as his WR corp. WE paid all these bums top dollar and we get crappy play in return. Snyder needs to quit dolling out the cash so fast. Build with the draft and address needs. I say trade these bums(Lloyd, Moss, shoot even Thrash to sweeten the pot) with the exception of maybe Randle El( Caldwell and McCardell are exempt from my wrath) and draft a WR or two.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I don't completely blame the WRs--they need opportunities to make plays. That involves calling plays that attempts to put the ball in their hands. Downfield preferably (not on end arounds)...

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Have to catch a decent ball thrown your way though NYC to make plays. Saunders is an ass, and he is a big part of it(offensive woes), but dropped passes by this calibre of a WR corp is unacceptable.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Oh really? What has he really done this season? Do you want to wait for him to probably turn in another subpar season in '08 and nobody will want him then? Guy is a shorty in a big mans game. We need tall, strong WR's that can either be possesion receivers, or can jump up for the long ball. I think Moss is toast. Put McCardell and Caldewell in if this keeps up. Trade Moss after the season, get younger linemen from either side of the ball or better yet a draft pick. |

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I agree--dropped passes are unacceptable. But you have to feed your playmakers. 1-2 passes/game to Moss/ARE/Lloyd is not acceptable. Our strength right now on offense is actually our QB. Let the kid sling it and stop handcuffing him with dink and dunk plays. If he is checking it down each time, fine, but I doubt that is happening. And if they want to run--how about trying it out of a 4 wide set? Spread the field and try Portis that way...

You know what happens to Redskins trades and FA's: You let them go and they flourish somewhere else. He needs to be here, he will produce if given the time and chance (and yes, I know he's gotten a lot of chances). Moss is getting a bad rap cause he hasn't had a 2006 season so far this season.
