Blue Star, read this, learn this, or leave

http://www.redskinswarpath.com/announcement.php?f=2

7. Please avoid posting in all caps. AS YOU CAN SEE IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE SHOUTING AND IT GETS QUITE ANNOYING TO READ AN ENTIRE POST THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS. Also, please try to use proper punctuation and paragraphs; it makes your post much easier to follow.

8. Fans from other teams are always welcome here, but keep in mind if you are a fan of another team don't expect us to welcome you in with open arms, in fact you can probably expect some hostility from us until you win our respect. If your sole intention of joining this forum is to tell us how much the Redskins suck and how your team rocks don't expect to be here very long.

Some people did make homer predictions, but most were realistic. Was it not realistic for us, at the time, to think we would not allow the Pats to run the score up on us given the fact we had a top 5 defense?

I could care less what your prediction was. The tone in your posts was what pissed people off. Act like a troll, then you get treated like one.

What a douchebag...I would join an opposing teams forum, but wait I have much better things to do with my life. Its so like a cowboys fan to be arrogant, ignorant, and obnoxious. Until I meet one who acts otherwise I don't see my opinion changing. Hail!

Exactly. Not all the Cowboys fans posting are to blame, but the ones who are make their fanbase look like morons who know absolutely NOTHING about football, and ride the jock of the whoever's popular at the time.

Please prove us wrong.

saden1

just because they've destroyed everybody, including the Cowboys, doesn't mean they are going to destroy the Skins.

In any case, you guys almost got shocked by the Bills, Skins almost got shocked by the Cards, and the Patriots can almost get socked by the Skins. They play the game for a reason and your 42-3 prediction is very asinine and unintelligent.

p.s. I very much look forward to the Skins fucking your Cowboys up.

warriorzpath
So you predict 5 touchdowns in the first half and then 1 in the second ?

Or are you just talking out of your A**, just because the Patriots gave your (Black and) Blue Stars an A** kicking.

And just to make it clear I'm NOT laughing WITH you.

Giantone

Just shut up.

Look I'll be the first to admit that Blue Star may have gone too far.

It all started when he made his prediction (in a prediction thread) prior to the game, and, he got attacked for it, called an a**, told to shut up, called asinine and unintelligent, stupid etc., you get the picture.

But one would think that the above post quotes that were directed at him, would be a violation of the forum rules as well. He gets benched and I am wondering if the other posters who violated these rules were even warned?

But after the game, he did some gloating (admit it we have all done it before) and things got out of hand.

Sure it went too far and got out of hand, but the precedent was set by the many, and not just the one.

I keep it real and maybe some of yall should start. A top 5 defense and nothing else against a number 4 defense and 1 offense. The skins have nothing else and that was what I was trying to get through. We are possibly watching the greatest team that was ever assembled in pro football and thats real recognized it people.

The tone in my post, please this is a forum where you voice your opinion about football it does not have to be in a friendly buddy buddy manor.

Trust smootsmack I KNOW what typing in ALL CAPS MEAN.
When did I mention the cowboys rock? Cowboys got rocked and Redskins got rocked and rolled.

Sandtrapjack I expect it and they had this one coming.

I got bench big deal. I could care less but I have made a point here to not bash anyones prediction because they are fans of your rival. It just back fired and made you many look silly.

Sandstrapjack and 5Rings are a good example.

BlueStar is just trying to vent out all the frustration he accumulated during the week when he was told that he is crazy to think that the Skins won't stop the Pats. Please go back and read the posts about how the Skins D is not the [profanity] Cowboys D.

I think many Redskins fans knew they would lose, but not that bad. They expected them to at least show up and put up a fight.

I respect some of you guys but some are just assholes, wtf do you expect at a Skins forum. I get the same treatment at a Cowboys forum (dallascowboyszone.com). he needs to learn respect, you earn that at a Skins forum.

It does if you're a Cowboys homer who's here to stir the pot and has nothing to contribute other than troll-bait.

If you think the "manor" in which you carry yourself on a message board is irrelevant, you obviously haven't been on these here newfangled Intarwebs very long.

If you want to take the same approach to participating on an internet message board for the rival of the football team you root for, that Belichick and the Patriots took on Sunday, which is to say, it's all about being "right" or "winning" and not about having a little class or respect, I think you may have some issues.

I'll tell you this, after the Pats beat the Cowboys I couldn't have imagined going to go find a Cowboys message board and posting a bunch of "in your face" type messages. What possible purpose would that serve, other than making me look like a royal douchebag?

Had I just came on the site out of the blue, with no insight prior to the game you could call me a "douchebag". I posted on Wed and then told a couple of these fakehearted fans a thing or too after the game because of the heat I occurred during the week(but some redskin fans made a blowout prediction that was larger than mine). I am not on here to make friends. I have been on here since 2005.

You did back off your position when we told you you were being stupid.

Now you come on here and act all holier that though for saying something ridiculous, backing off, and then being proven wrong for backing off.

Guess what, you were wrong just like the rest of us. If you truly believe the Skins would have gotten beat as bad as they did, you would have stuck to your guns.

The only thing I'm sorry for is that I apologized to you prematurely before you showed your true colors.

Re: Redskins v Patriots predictions

I haven't seen the game yet - was out of town and will watch it on tape. I predict a big Redskins win - a rout in fact.

I look forward to putting the tape on tonight.
