Re: Its time for joe to step down.
The first time, yes, I would've went for it. The second time, no way you go for it. We were only up by 2 points. At least kicking the field goal forced the Eagles to get into the end zone rather than going up by one with a field goal.

I'm cool with you, GiantsSuck. When I disagree with you on a point, I'll let you know about it. You've earned your keep around here in a civil manner in the past, so I can deal with some frustration after a loss. That's normal, I guess.

Of course you had us starting the season 0-3 and losing to the Lions as well so...

I don't understand your fascination with the spread. Just cause the best QBs ever make it effective doesn't mean everyone and their grandmother should copy it.

Re: Its time for joe to step down.
We were head and shoulders above them on that day. Overall we are probably very close when both teams are 100% healthy.

Re: Its time for joe to step down.
We tend to play down to the level of our opposition (much like Italy in soccer). Rarely do we blow away a bad team. I'd say we are much better than Detroit.

I think you saw today how much better the offense is when we get our guys spread out a little bit and running hurry up. Nothing wrong opening things up. |
