Wow. I'm very happy that Blache will run the defense. This is good news. Who the heck will want to be the coach after all this I wonder?

I don't think there will be any less candidates (well maybe one less) for head coach. Blache will carry on the defensive tradition that has been put in place (there's your continuity), Zorn is a highly respected offensive candidate who was no doubtedly brought in to spark the growth of what has been a fairly stagnant offense for years. I think it's all good news.

Really? As the HC, you are ultimately responsible for what happens on the field and if the team doesn't fare well, you are getting fired. With that in mind, would you really want to go to a team where the OC and DC have been hand-picked for you? And what if you have a system that is different than the ones they employ? Are you going to run yours and have ineffective coordinators? It's one thing for HC's to want to control personnel matters, but I think most people looking at a HC gig would like some control over their fate.

LOL. True we did live through Spurrier. I think what gets me is that Snyder hasn't change, and he's the X factor in our team's misfortunes.

Re: Official press release from SKINS Blache and Zorn to take over OC/DC.

According to the article Greg Williams has been fired.
I guess Snyder thinks Blache is a better coach?
Snyder was qouted as saying he is listening to the advice from coaches he is interviewing from other teams. Not sure I agree with that. Rival coaches do not want to see us do better.

My main concern with this rather strange and process is we are really limiting ourselves as to the HC position. The new incoming coach is going to have accept Zorn and Blache running his to most important units. I do not know of any stong HC canidate that would accept that unless the guy is desperate for a job.
The other possiblity is we already have an under the table agreement with one of the coaches in the Superbowl and he was ok with Zorn and Blache.
This entire process is not ideal.

I bet the HC has been in place for a couple days already, and that HC gave snyder the go ahead on the coordinators. The Head Coach will probably be announced later today, no way is snyder going to get coordinators the head coach doesn't want. I bet its going to be Fassel too.

This is clearly a step back for both positions. Neither has had a sniff as a coordinator before. I'd take Gregg Williams over Blache and Saunders over Zorn anyday. Further who hires an O and a D coordinator before hiring a head coach? This is extremely rare for numerous reasons. The Skins will never go to the next level with Danny and Vinny running the front office.

I don't think it will be Fassel, or they would have announced all three together. Fan sentiment toward him was pretty outrageous and Snyder knows it. Add on that he, according to a few other columns, already feels used about the process..and it could be someone entirely different. I am officially throwing my support behind Russ Grimm.

I am not sure that is correct. I think Fassel is the fall back guy. I think Fassel has been put on hold by Snyder so he can interview Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and/or Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels after the Super Bowl, If it was Fassell they would have already announced it. He has no job currently or contract tp prevent the move.

I do not want Fassel, buy it seems we are destined for him because no great coach will want in to this disfunctunal situation.
SNYDERATTO Sucks.

Did they hire two guys that have never been cordinators before? Is that what all of Snyders money get us. Well screw Snyder, he is a full bore idiot!
