Re: Is it just me????? Or are all the threads looking alike
I've pretty much all but given up on the O's at this point. I'll still root for them, but in all honestly, it's quite hard given what he's done to the franchise. What's nice is the Nats move into their new park, so it'll give me something to do this summer besides getting hammered at Harry Grove Stadium watching the Frederick Keys play.

Re: Is it just me????? Or are all the threads looking alike
Well it seems that people are just finding new ways to start a thread about the same subject. Even if someone does find a new subject after a page of post it ends up back to that same subject.

Actually... you had a good point... even this thread was becoming like every other topic.

Re: Is it just me????? Or are all the threads looking alike
I think the main problem with a lot of the treads being started here are that a lot of topics posted are what I would expect to find in the middle of another thread. However some users want to be heard so bad that they'll take their post and start a new thread with it.
Threads like "Is it really that bad" and the 'Eli sucks' theads could easily have fit as post in already existing threads. However people still feel the need to make their voices hear, which ironically is a feat that I'm guilty of myself. Just check up on my history and see how many unnecssary threads I made when I first got here. Another problem though is the people who get pissed when a new thread is started when the only relevant thread is already around 8 pages long. As Smootsmack said in a previous post, any new (major) developments in a story usually warrant consideration for their own thread. Especially when the most relevant thread is many pages long.

Re: Is it just me????? Or are all the threads looking alike
How about I make a motion that we start a petition to determine whether a petition is needed.
Now, do we need a petition to see if we should make the motion for a petition to do a petition? Talk about a lot of re-petition.

Re: Is it just me????? Or are all the threads looking alike
Let's make a motion against newbies posting 3 word or less posts.
