Does the name Jason David ring any bells for anyone? He played for the super bowl Colts and for some reason was regarded as a solid CB. Well, he ended up getting burnt bad in New Orleans so much he rode the pine most of the season. As far as us trading for/signing a DB I think we should go after Marcus Trufant or Asante Samuel. But thats a topic for another thread, right Smooty?
Right

While I don't think Lito will be traded within the division, it's interesting to note all the NFC East teams have some question marks at corner. Will Lito be traded? Will the Cowboys find anyone worth a damn other than Terrance Newman? The Giants and Redskins battled injury all season at CB and each team has an aging starter in Springs and Madison.

I didn't know that Az was planning on moving Rolle to safety. That makes a trade for Lito make even more sense.

he's got a crazy cheap long term contract, it'd be beyond stupid for the eagles to even consider it.

3mill a year for a #1 (injury prone) CB is still a value. we're paying ours 6mill for slightly better production and he's still missing a bunch of games.

i mean, 2, 3, 4, 4mill for the next 4 years. i'd trade for that contract for sure. it's the same level of cheap as sean taylor's contract.

Shepards a good corner, but personally I wouldnt want him if i was ds. There is plenty of talent in that position and you can draft good corners pretty easily.

i disagree with the thought that doesn't mean a whole lot to the skins. Shepard, when healthy, is a legit corner. and also a starter on a divisional rival. if traded, it instantly weakens the eagles defense. we all know how hard it is to find quality corners in this league
