Dallas Game Protests

Does anyone know what ever happened with the protests that Gibbs filed with the league after the Dallas game regarding the two bad calls? Just curious.

Nothing... what were they supposed to do? Reverse the outcome of the game and give us the win? HAHAHAHAHA. Ahem.

Other than them admitting they blew the calls, nothing ever comes of it.

Look, smartass, I'm aware that they wouldn't reverse the outcome of the game. I was just wondering if they ever issued a statement, which is what they typically do in response to protests.

Does it really matter to you that they admitted they were wrong? You and I know they were bad calls... so what?

This is a great thread. I love the drama. We got us some real Redskin fans here.

Easy now boys, save it for the field on Sunday!

Well, since no one else sees fit two give you a direct answer, I will.

Yes, the NFL did respond (I think it was the very next day). The admitted that both calls were incorrect - their form of an apology. I don't remember which officiating crew it was, but I sure hope Gibbs is doing everything he can to keep that crew away from any future Redskins games. Those call were so obvious and so bad, it really looked suspicious.

HG if we really want the inside scoop why don't we just ask the man himself, Sundra, I mean coach Gibb's?

Thanks, Hogskin. That's all I was wondering.

Obviously I care, or else I wouldn't have asked. I agree that this isn't the most pressing issue facing the 'Skins, but it occurred to me that I never heard anything more about it, so I was curious. Silly me, I decided to ask on a Redskins discussion board. What could I have been thinking...

I think some of us are still a little grumpy when it comes to that game and those calls.

Sorry JudgeJebus

Bad officiating is a part of football. We have to live with it and I don't think it should be something that we're focusing on four weeks after it happens. We have other more pressing issues. I'm not being a dick... I just think it's a moot point and I find it absurd that we're still talking about it.
Sorry if i offended jebus.

No need for either of you to apologize. I'm not easily offended.

EEich, the thing is, if you think this is too trivial a topic to talk about, that's cool. Don't talk about it. Hogskin was happy to answer my question, and we were done.
